Very central location which was perfect for where I needed to be. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was OK.
Dated and tired room. Wifi not working, Tatty window blinds, Very loud outside (not the hotel's fault), old bed linen and towels.
location was good, staff was very friendly
Very small room and we even had the executive room! Matras was terrible, I hardly slept for 3 nights. The lights on the outside of the hotel are very bright and disturbing. I had to climb over my partner to get in and out of bed. I did not have a night stand and the headboard of the bed was dirty. There were 4 (!) heating devices but we were afraid to put them on because they looked so old that they could have exploded. Bathroom was old (remove the pipes that are clearly no longer in use) and 2 persons could not even be in the bathroom at the same time. The glasses in the bathroom were dirty, so was the carpet in the room. I did not want to walk barefoot on it. The remote control of the TV was dirty and broken because the batteries were empty and toxic fluids were coming out! The elevators were extremely slow and good luck trying to find the stairs because the stairs hall is so old that you would think you're in the wrong place because you would think that they don't want the guests to see. Renovation is needed.
Location, Location, Location......value for money. Bar is also lively.
Location, Easy transport links
Small room, no heating controls, noisy as by the lifts which continuously ding
Housekeeping staff keep knocking on your room door from 8.30am until you leave on your day of departure, rooms to be vacated by 11am, totally unacceptable
Tiny rooms. Some maintenance needed.
Having to pay for wifi
The location of the hotel is quite good.
You have to pay for the wi-fi at the hotel!
Value for money. Lovely view over london night sky, the Eye and Big Ben. Really close to Oxford Street and Theatreland.Excellent choice at breakfast. Will be back.
Where is was close to resturants, bars etc
Nothing not to like
Close to the West End. Great for shopping also.
Fantastic location! Staff at the concierge were very helpful. The breakfast included in the hotel price/package was great value for money!
Was a bit hard to find the hotel when you first get there. But apart from that was a great place to stay
This hotel is brilliantly located 200 yes from Tottenham Court Rd tube and perfect for access to Oxford Street
Well located; OK price; friendly staff
Common areas (lobby, lift) are old and untidy - could benefit from thorough cleaning and refurbishing. Generally looks dirty. WIFI is expensive. Rooms aren't well-insulated from noise of corridors. Housekeeping knocks at your door by 8am!
excellent hotel, fabulous location, will definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again
I liked the attitude of the staff.
I didn't like the slightly grimy appearance of the carpet in the bedroom.
no problem switching rooms when first one was too noisy
first room was too noisy. bin in bathroom had not been emptied after previous occupant. bed sheet had hole.
The room was very small and extremely loud... Could hear everything from outside and down the corridors!!!! Didn't get any sleep
I liked the location very much its in the middle of the most attractive and life area shopping area food
I did not like the attitude of some of the stuff especialy the Concierge and one of the reception stuff .they was not helpfull and agressive sometimes.
The location was good and very near to a Tube station. The breakfast and the dining room staff were very good.
Only enough room at each side of the bed to actually get in and out. Small adjoining room with small sofa, but not comfortable. Would have preferred a larger all inclusive room. Very small windows.
Good value for Central London will recommend and good hotel
Location, friendly staff which also maintained professionalism.
Small shower unit, & I'm no big fella
The room was ideal for myself but if you are a bit on the 'large' side then you will struggle in this room (638).
As I said it is the smallest hotel room ive ever stayed in and ive travelled all over the world. But i must say for the price it was pretty good value for money.
Very convenient for us. Tube, theatre and pub all within a minute's walk. We've often "roughed" it on trips to concerts, caring more about music than standard of accommodation. This time our enjoyment was actually enhanced by a very pleasant stay.
There were no negatives for me. This is a very comfortable mid-range hotel in a great location for seeing round London.
