Great location for London central and shows. Excellent value for London.
Water was off when we arrived but not a major.
the toilet was stained badly - flush had poor pressure so that's why, but shows the cleaning was inadequate and no-one was checking. In the morning, there was NO water in the bathroom - luckily we'd already showered and cleaned our teeth but no excuse for this. Reception staff were curt - a complete contrast to the warm, friendly ones at the Hotel Russell we stayed in two days later who couldn't do enough for us. We would never stay at the St. Giles again.
Very good hotel the price is perfect location is perfect rooms are clean, not big but not very small in regards to London hotel rooms sizes Excellent
Started cleaning the rooms very early in the morning and making a lot of sound
Having to pay for wifi
The location is good, staff are friendly and rooms are of a decent standard.
The lifts take forever and after waiting for at least 10 minutes I ended walking down lots of stairs with a heavy suitcase. It can be a bit noisy on the roadside.
Location and cleanliness
Tea and coffe facilities n the room
Size of room and impossibilty to open the window
Beautiful hotel, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
location- my second stay at this hotel. Went with my daughter Xmas shopping this time. Lovely to relax after a hard day shopping instead of fighting for a train back home. It made it a special day out.
Good location, helpful staff
Having to queue for Breakfast
Access to the Fitness Centre, good and fair value nearby restaurant options, and especially the ones attached to the hotel.
Paying for wi-fi, which didn't work.
Central location. Welcoming atmosphere. Excellent meal and service at one of the restaurants. Attractive bar. Close to Sainsburys for snacks. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.
Nothing major - pillow was a bit hard and friend said sink plug didn't work. (Shower was good).
Locatıon and staff
Worn, dull interior. Aging elevators. Lukewarm shower
Location is good and few steps to underground station.
Very central location which was perfect for where I needed to be. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was OK.
Dated and tired room. Wifi not working, Tatty window blinds, Very loud outside (not the hotel's fault), old bed linen and towels.
location was good, staff was very friendly
Very small room and we even had the executive room! Matras was terrible, I hardly slept for 3 nights. The lights on the outside of the hotel are very bright and disturbing. I had to climb over my partner to get in and out of bed. I did not have a night stand and the headboard of the bed was dirty. There were 4 (!) heating devices but we were afraid to put them on because they looked so old that they could have exploded. Bathroom was old (remove the pipes that are clearly no longer in use) and 2 persons could not even be in the bathroom at the same time. The glasses in the bathroom were dirty, so was the carpet in the room. I did not want to walk barefoot on it. The remote control of the TV was dirty and broken because the batteries were empty and toxic fluids were coming out! The elevators were extremely slow and good luck trying to find the stairs because the stairs hall is so old that you would think you're in the wrong place because you would think that they don't want the guests to see. Renovation is needed.
Location, Location, Location......value for money. Bar is also lively.
Location, Easy transport links
Small room, no heating controls, noisy as by the lifts which continuously ding
Housekeeping staff keep knocking on your room door from 8.30am until you leave on your day of departure, rooms to be vacated by 11am, totally unacceptable
Tiny rooms. Some maintenance needed.
Having to pay for wifi
The location of the hotel is quite good.
You have to pay for the wi-fi at the hotel!
