We upgraded the room as it was a special occasion and were very pleased with the outcome. The view was better, the room was bigger and the breakfast was excellent. I did not like the idea of having continental breakfast in a lounge - possibly with nowhere to sit. |

central to theatre, restaurants and shopping on 3 occassions the key for the room didnt work, which resulted in trips back to reception, no apology from reception, even though it was a reception fault for not activating card and subsequently also de-activating card. Room cold and no way of turning up temperature. Breakfast was pastries which ran short at 9.30 (breakfast was till 10.30) so very limited choice. |

Its location was perfect, very central location, especially for first visit to London. The staff were most helpful and answered all our questions and more. I have recommended this hotel to my friends and I certainly will be returning in the near future. Thank you The rooms were on the small side but were adequate for our needs |

Very nice hotel. Close to everything, a room with good standard, comfortable beds and a clean modern bathroom. The YMCA swimming pool was fantastic. To few elevators worked at the same time. |

The hotel is in an excellant location and you can walk to most attractions. Maintenance of the room problems with heating and shower which were reported but we found a previous occupants comments on a completed hotel form which was from 3 weeks before our stay. |

Location for theatre, shopping, sightseeing. Warm welcome on arrival, helpfulness on departure. Terrible breakfast. Even at cheaper hotels there is better choice, e.g. continental breakfast. No bath. |

fantastic location for theatres. close to stations. rooms are small but fully equipped, so perfect if you just need somewhere cheap to lay your head at night the lifts were appalling! we waited for ages for them every time and then ended up using the stairs. when we complained we were told it was because they were fully booked. |

central location the room we had was 'compact' the lighting was very poor, rather cold and seemed to have a noisy generator type of background noise. TV's are basic with poor choice of channels to watch. Full English Breakfast is expensive, the Coffee to go is just adequate |

It's central location. It was very close tothe tube and also had easy access to a suermarjet and chemist. Rooms were incredible small and the wlls were very thin. It was really noisey and hardly slept during my 3 night stay |
