Noise outside in the early hours of the morning. Not hotels fault.
Good Location and friendly staff
Rooms a little noisy from traffic/street noise
Location convenient for theatre and tube. . Nice breakfast served by friendly staff.
Bed and bedroom very small considering we booked executive room. Decor and seating in public areas very tired.
The service was great the room small but fine for one night. The location was very good near shops and underground station
Breakfast was ok food fine but having to queue and then find a table which was a bit like a canteen we were not very impressive.
Sharing our room with rodents - not at all impressed - at any cost, in any hotel - anywhere. And the complete lack of subsequent contact from the hotel, despite informing reception is quite staggering. And so - my advice - DONT STAY!
to have no free WiFi
small double room, not a problem, tiny window not much natural light.
Good location and good value for a budget hotel
Large hotel right at the end of Oxford Street just a short walk to Theatre land the underground and similarly to buses. Staff very helpful the concierge especially so. I have stayed at St Giles 6 times now and would stay nowhere else
Wifi, too expensive.
Hotel upgraded my room upon my arrival. The decoration of the room was pretty basic, but functional - small fridge, coffee&tea making possibility.
Didn`t like the fact, that the blanket was not put in a cover, but just a sheet under it.
Couple of minutes walk from Tottenham court road station so very fast to get to tourist places great base if you only need bed for the night
Room very small and basic. walls thin. Can be noisy
Room was 'deluxe' but it was pokey. Had to wait too long for the lifts
Excellent location. Reasonable price
Room not that clean. Dirty under bed. Very noisy bathroom light. Being disturbed on 2 occasions in the morning by housekeeping staff well before check out time!
Room was a bit dated, room was very cold as the heating wasn't working properly however the staff was very helpful and got us a portable heater
The staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the gentlemen at the doors who we store the luggage with. Also the staff in the 24 hour cafe were amazing. cant fault it really, apart from the room we were in outside there was a fan, and it was so noisy as me and my sister was trying to sleep. other than that, id be more than happy to use st giles again.
The fan outside, so noisy as we were trying to sleep. room 454 level 4.
Perfect for central London and Oxford Street
Hotel is a bit tired, rooms are small. Bathroom in particular is quite tiny and shower barely worked.
Location is excellent .
Room is so small , hotel service and attitude is worse.
Helpful reception/concierge staff and good location.
We had room 360. It was very small but as we were only staying one night we accepted that. When we turned TV off to go to sleep the noise from the extractor fans or some mechanical device made it difficult to sleep and when woken by bottles being emptied into bins at 2.00 am it was impossible to go back to sleep because of the awful noise. Duty manager did not really care when we complained. He said he would have changed our room but we didn't really want to complain after going to bed. Birthday treat spoilt.
Location fab for shopping and theatres. Very clean, staff friendly. Would stay here again when visiting London.
Our executive room was great made even better as we had a complimentary full English breakfast.
Shame that you had to pay for WI Fi in room. We tried to get connected in the VQ bar but not successful.
Smart, modern hotel, warm and comfortable, good choice of breakfast. Location just a five minute walk away to the West End Theatres and oxford street for shopping, and underground station at Tottenham Court Road.
Nothing to dislike.
Simple good value and unpretetious
The location of the hotel
The room. It was a tiny room with two single beds. No space to move or open the two bagages we had.
