Great location but really very small rooms especially the single room. Never seen such room before. Breakfast a joke. Do not take it. Lots of offers in the city. The bed is very unconfortable. |

The location was great. Really close to tube stations and very central for exploring London on foot. The gym connected to the hotel was surprisingly good. Facilities were great and gym staff were very friendly. Breakfast staff were also very efficient and friendly. Cleaing staff were very pleasant. Concierge was a very helpful. The whole hotel could do with a bit of a face-lift. Our room wasn't very big but was sufficient given price and location. Mixture of reception staff - those who were v good and efficient and others didn't quite seem to know what they were doing. |

Good accommodation, excellent location for West End, helpful and colurteous staff I was very disappointed that you have discontinued serving full breakfasts. This was an added attraction for me which influenced my decision to choose St Giles over other similar hotels for my trips to London. I may now have to reconsider now that you have downgraded your service by offering a poor substitute for breakfasts. This affects value for money. |

Generally the hotel is OK. Lobby rather unattractive. Breakfast restaurant quite nice and staff very pleasant. Ethernet internet wiring provided in rooms, but rubbish connection. And expensive if you could make it work. |

The hotel was clean and frindly, it was a very good location for us as we went to the theatre nearby, worked out very well. The breakfast was not very good, the coffee machine was not working due to a burst water pipe, and the pastries were not fresh! which was a shame, as this is the last memory of the hotel, I would book this hotel again but on a room only basis. |

Great location for Soho/Theatreland. Nice to have a leisurely 5 minute stroll back late at night rather than fighting for a taxi. Hard to find anything comparable at this price. Generally old and undermaintained and room very basic which is what you would expect at this price. However, mattess very loft and lumpy and lifts unreliable which you do not expect. |

Location Breakfast was terrible. I paid for a bed and breakfast and got a cup of rubbish coffee, a pastry (for breakfast????) and either an apple or orange and nowhere to sit and eat it apart from your room. Also the rooms were very small and basic. Lifts take forever. |

its central location, 2 tube stops to oxford st. good atmosphere in hotel bar. suitable for 2 women travelling alone. yes. on arrival, approx 2pm , i noticed the heat was not working in my room. i rang down and reported it. was told someone from maintenence would be up to fix it. a waited approx 1 hour and no - one showed. i went down to lady on reception on my way out shopping to report no one had come yet, and could she ensure it was looked at while i was out as it was sub zero outside. i also asked her for another towel. she was rude on both requests to me. i am an area manager of a large retail company, and i could tell by her attitude, it would not be fixed on my return - and it was not ! for the length of my stay tues- sat, i had no heater working. i lovely gentlman working at hotel on 1st night, sent up a plug in heater when i told him of issue. |

dont even bother with the prepaid breakfast, its 3 items period, one of which is a liquid....the best thing about this hotel is the superb location. The rest is decent for the price paid of abour €90 per night room too small. Does it take so much to refurbish more than once every two decades by the looks of it? But its location location location coupled with adequate basics and its why I will return |

Convenient to city centre shops and Underground, Helpful and friendly staff. Clean room. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and hot. Restaurant is a bit over crowded at Breakfast time. When I booked I thought it included full breakfast but it was buffet only and I had to pay extra. |
