Excellent location for trips to Bath, Longleat and other places of interest. The bus for Bath stops at the end of the drive. The local pub the Seven Stars offers good food with real ales on tap,but book early.
The location is perfect for a quiet stay with some lovely views
The breakfast room did not enjoy sitting round one table
We really liked the house, the overall decor of the home and our room. Everything was clean and tidy. The hostess was warm and friendly and very kindly booked a local restaurant table for us to eat on our arrival Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
It's a personal preference issue - and we dot want to offend as we appreciate animals are often considered to be very much part of the family. But although we don't mind dogs - we would have preferred if the dog was not allowed into the breakfast/dining room whilst guests are present and eating.
A wonderful place to stay. Rooms we're clean and bright. Breakfast way excellent. The owners we're very friendly. Lovely gardens.
The sign for still meadow could have been bigger.
The hosts were lovely. I totally understood previous comments re the dog and was pleased to have been be forewarned. He does bark and growl but is a good dog.
Pre ordering breakfast the night before. Having to share a dining table at breakfast (prefer to have some peace first thing) Having to go and ask for milk, none in rooms.
Lovely B&B in lovely surrounding. Sue and Ed are excellent hosts. Breakfasts are 1st class. Perfect base for touring the south Cotswolds.
We received a friendly welcome from man and dog. The views from the property were lovely and there was a feeling of space. The place was clean and fresh. It was nice to be within walking distance of a good food pub. Without doubt I would stay here again.
Friendly and helpful owners. Nice quite location and a good pub down the road.
A hostile greeting from a large dog even though it was all bluff. Sheets and a light cover would be better than a heavy duvet in summer.
Everything. The best B&B we have ever stayed in!
Very quiet & peaceful in a small village. Good pubs within walking distance.
Proper coffee and good choice of teas in room. TV tuned sensibly - found channels easily. Good choice of breakfast.
Would prefer evening meal on site, but local pub friendly and with good food.
Sue was very welcoming very helpful she thought of all the little knick knacks you may need or may have forgotten for your stay .location was superb rural but with bus links to bath.love to go back soon. Alan&Lynn Flower.
Clean, quiet, cosy and friendly.
There was nothing to dislike
We loved being welcomed into someone's home, getting to know the dog, and chatting to the other guests.
A double bed was a little small for us, we are tall people.
Room was clean and fresh, with excellent views. Made very welcome. Choice of breakfast plus excellent coffee. Location in village in easy walking of good pub restaurant. Accommodated early check-in.
Full tea/coffee service in the room but did not come with milk. Breakfast choice was good and well cooked, but pots of jam/marmalade were empty or maybe very sticky.
Had a really lovely break, could not find fault. Hosts lovely, food great and accommodation excellent. In fact, have already planned our next stay :)
The facilities were excellent and the owners so friendly and helpful.
fantastic attention to detail (pure cotton bedlinen, freshly ground coffee available in the room) lovely breakfast, friendly host who advised us to book a table at the local gastropub, where the food was delicious
Everything. Ed & Sue made us feel really at home. They made sure we had everything we needed. The room was lovely and breakfast first class. Even Bollinger the dog was lovely...:)
Excellent Breakfasts, fantastic location, fabulous accommodation, excellent pub nearby, local bus pass by, most friendly & accommodating couple run this establishment. To save disappointment book your meals at the local pub (Seven Stars) if not going into Bradford on Avon.
Shame the pub is not open on Sunday Evenings!
Sue and Ed are delightful hosts. Knowledgable on the area. Breakfasts were delicious. Lovely room and location.
We liked everything about Stillmeadow and it's lovely owners
