This elegant hotel has welcomed guests, including royalty, for more than 200 years.
Score from 827 reviews Very good
Set on the slopes of Ochil Hill, the 19th-century Broomhall Castle features charming rooms, some with four-poster beds. The historical city of Stirling is just 5 miles away.
Score from 442 reviews Very good
Offering modern and comfortable accommodation, the 3-star Holiday Inn Express Hotel presents itself as an ideal base from which to explore the attractions of Stirling and central Scotland.
Score from 376 reviews Very good
Just 5 minutes’ drive from Stirling city centre, this modern hotel is situated in historic Bannockburn. It offers en suite rooms that are non-smoking and have free wireless internet access.
Score from 484 reviews Good
No tea or coffee making facilities in Room. Only one bath towel for two people. Extractor fan in bathroom did not work.
I booked an upgrade but didnt get it
excellant value. staff very pleasant, very good eating facilities, can,t fault the breakfast
Good location, clean, comfortable rooms. Menu limited by OK. Breakfast good. Have stayed many times before and its OK rather than being anything special.
This is Stirling Management Conference Centre - so it has a bit of an instituntional feel. On this occassion had problems with noise after midnight from other guests. Room was very warm with thick duvet - Night Porter told us no blankets were available - which the reception next morning said was wrong.
excellent friendly staff
very noisy. above any movement created lots of creaking etc. housekeeping staff noisy. the hallway had some sort of sprung floor making all movement on it very noisy. walls between rooms basic plasterboard separation. a quiet stay impossible!
Room and facilities were good
Signage to accommodation was poor in the dark.
We could'nt find out how to turn out the bathroom light. Nor how to operate the shower. Both secrets are revealed in an ostensibly eco-notice on the mirror.
Clean, convenient and very competitively priced. This hotel has excellent facilities, friendly staff and a breakfast buffet that would satisfy William Wallace himself.
24 hour bar advertised but drinks had to be taken to the room - not a well thought through policy for groups that want to chat as the risk of other guests being inadvertently disturbed is increased (luckily our group had the rooms on either side of mine so this wasn't an issue).
Bar prices expensive Menu choices
wasn't aware of a lift in the hotel.
Rooms wer basic was shocked at one towel in bathroom. Plus bathroom was a bit grubby us smelt of dampnes .. Poor tv signal and poor wifi .. Breakfast was lovely good choice..
Felt very let down as pool is not in hotel but down the road very poor information I was under impression it was in hotel ..
Room was nice and clean, venue itself is great. Although it's hard to find on the campus, when I finally found the hotel (which had since changed name from my booking details), I received a nice welcome and the room was comfy and had everything I needed. I had a course the next day so was it was a really useful base. I already had a parking space from the previous evening to which was great as I believe it was a real problem to find parking for other people arriving just for the course on the day.
Friendly and helpful staff
Not enough twin rooms
The place was quiet and clean and allowed a good sleep after workdays - that is all I liked about it and I am sure the same can be found elsewhere in Stirling.
The hotel info materials nicely conceal the fact that it is too far from the city center. If you order a taxi there, count on a half an hour waiting time and the same is with the public transportation, esp. on weekends. The reception staff was rude and largely uninterested to assist with orientation and practical matters such as advice on local transport, sites or currency exchange.
Away from traffic noise nice grounds good breakfast friendly staff
access to facilities are free to use. Room very clean and comfortable
Clean Pleasant and helpful staff
Bit old fashioned and out of date Poor quality of breakfast Telephone wake up call failed due to a poor telephone connection in our room
University facilities, easy to find
Dining room and to some extent the bedrooms felt abit like an institution.
The location is beautiful and relaxing. The food is excellent and good value for top quality food and service. Loved my stay x
Location, ease of access and facilities. Evening menu and breakfast choice
The grounds were very nice.
The bed was very uncomfortable, you could feel every spring. Room was very noisy, from banging doors and people coming in late and banging on doors trying to find their room.
Great facilities, friendly staff, excellent food (try the Haddock - amazing presentation and cooked to perfection - best I've ever had). Good size room (205), very clean and well appointed. Have stayed in the university grounds previously and really enjoy walking around the lake. Close enough to walk into Bridge of Allen if you wish and it is a quick drive into Stirling itself.
Wasn't advised of option to take cases up in a lift on arrival - was directed to the stairs right next to the reception desk. It was only after I mentioned later I had strained my back doing this that I became aware of the lift's existence in another part of the complex. Perhaps reception staff could arrange assistance if it appears likely those booking in might need help? BUT, seeing your reception staff are women I wouldn't expect them to lift a 30kg case up stairs any more than I should have. Seeing the name of your complex is now Stirling Court Hotel and not Stirling Management Centre perhaps this need should be addressed (if it hasn't already since we were there in mid August).
nice, clean and quiet place, a good base from which to explore Central Scotland, fantastic breakfasts
Lovely location stayed for two nights - first nights sleep poor as woken at 6am to what sounded like hoovering turned out to be woman across the hall using the hair dryer - very noisy! Breakfast ok. Later checkout time would have been nice- 10am a little early.
Very good location with Wallace Memorial within a short walking distance and free access to an excellent swimming pool. It may be a bit far out of town to walk but local bus service very good.
Nothing I can think of.
