Plenty of parking, good staff, excellent breakfasts, beautiful surroundings on campus, close to Stirling. Noise from heating plant? Room too hot during our stay.

Relaxed comfortable atmosphere, swimming academy, facilities and food drink where excellent. I didn't like the fact that I had an extra glass of wine in the comfortable chairs in the bar lounge.

Size of room, free parking, ease of use. Best option in the immediate area. Rooms starting to feel tired, soulless bar area. The price has gone up a lot recently and service is the same, comparable rooms in Edinburgh city centre are now cheaper.

The quiet location. Friendly staff. The evening meal and lunch were superb - breakfast was not as good. There was also a rather over enthusiastic waiter who kept trying to clear my plate etc before I had finished!

Mostly everything except food With the exception of the first class breakfast meals seem to be a bit of we are a hotel so we need to do some meals. The limited menu never varied thru out our break. the soup we had was a stock cube water and some mushrooms thrown in. So eating out is a must.

Staff were very helpful, from check-in to bar to restaurant. Whilst the bedroom had been 'refurbished' it reallt consisted of a coat of paint. The furniture is dated, bathroom small (but functional).

Very convenient for business people. No ice machines, the check-in staff not very helpful with the wifi and how to connect to it. When down for breakfast had to ask for something to drink (nobody came by the table to ask what I wanted) The bathroom was not cleaned properly, found hair in the shower and behind the toilet.

Being put in a disabled room, without being warned. Want a soak in the bath after a long drive, to find out we only had a shower.
