Lovely walks around the campus. Receptionist was excellent, as was the young barman who was run off his feet. Toiletries were of a very good quality. Breakfast was very good. 10 o'clock check out.

Where the hotel was situated suited our needs and requirements. Room small and in dire need of refurbishment. Towels old and Ndiscoloured. No air conditioning or able to access open windows.

The location, very near the conference at the university for which I was attending. My room was right next door to the laundry room. When I came back to my room one day there was bags of laundry blocking the doorway.

Size of room, free parking, ease of use. Best option in the immediate area. Rooms starting to feel tired, soulless bar area. The price has gone up a lot recently and service is the same, comparable rooms in Edinburgh city centre are now cheaper.

The quiet location. Friendly staff. The evening meal and lunch were superb - breakfast was not as good. There was also a rather over enthusiastic waiter who kept trying to clear my plate etc before I had finished!

Mostly everything except food With the exception of the first class breakfast meals seem to be a bit of we are a hotel so we need to do some meals. The limited menu never varied thru out our break. the soup we had was a stock cube water and some mushrooms thrown in. So eating out is a must.
