St Ives Hotel  

Stayed at the st ives hotel sat 28th april-29th april for my husbands birthday. The hotel was bought as a gift by our daughter and she picked great, the room was a sea view with very modern decor and huge comfortable bed. Room was spotless and the hotel staff where very friendly. Breakfast was lovely and had a good choice from cereal, fruit to a full scottish breakfast. The location was great, close enough to the main strip to enjoy a few pubs but far enough away that there wasnt any noise. Would definatly stay here again. Mr & Mrs Drummond.

I thought the owners were incredibly friendly. Sandra is welcoming and full of local knowledge about enteratinment in the town. She is a fabntastic advocate for the town as well as respresenting her own business well. Sandra and her husband are really accomplished hosts. The hotel is situated near Dunoon's centre which is convenient for the ferry. The hotel itself has panoramic views of the Clyde coast. The residents loubge on the second floor is a marvellous place for unwinding and enjoying the gorgeous scenery. I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting that bit more from their accomodation.

The location was ideal for us, and friendliness of the owner who made us feel very welcome, Our room was very comfortable and clean , and the breakfast was excellent.

I loved the newly decorated room and the location was excellent. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was lovely. I would definetely go back there again.

The toilet wasent very private as it had lover doors, the out look from the window was the back of hotle and other backs of hotles.

The owner was friendly and helpful and served a good breakfast. We found the St Ives to be good value for money and will stay there again.

the owner was so nice and welcoming and we had a beauitful full english breakfast and loads of tea and toast it was well worth the money i would have paid more the room was so nice and we had a great view and a min from the ferry thanyous we had a lovely time

Dogs not really welcome. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who did not have a dog.

Just in front of the sea With a large sea view from room, breakfast room and lounge. Perfect place to relax. Owners are very sympatic.

I chose this hotel as a convenient location to visit the Tall Ships 2011 in Greenock. It is a small hotel located very close to the ferry terminal in the centre of Dunoon and ideal for those travelling without a car. To reach it just continue along the coastal walkway for a few minutes turning left from the ferry. The owners are very friendly and knowledgable about the area, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and has great views across the water. Trips on the paddle steamer Waverley leave from the ferry terminal and you can buy tickets on board. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to go back next year

The hotel was very good value for money and I had everything I needed. The proprietor was very helpful.

The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly, making you feel really welcome. Breakfast was good. The location was excellent, being about 5 minutes walk from the ferry, about 7 - 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area, and facing right on the water. There is a lovely walkway out front that goes along the waterfron for miles in either directlon.
