BREAKFAST MENU CHOICE WAS GOOD.
VERY SLOW SERVICE AT BREAKFAST. DOUBLE BED DESIGNED FOR SMALL PEOPLE. ASKED FOR QUIET ROOM AT THE REAR, GOT FRONT ROOM BY MAIN ROAD. FALSELY FRIENDLY STAFF, UNPROFESSIONAL.
Good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. Decent free wi-fi.
Manager was shabbily dressed, had no customer skills and did not lead by example. Consequently staff, especially in the restaurant, were inattentaive and inefficient (apart from Marie who seemed to do all the work). Restaurant table was sticky, was not cleaned and service was slow. We even had to fetch our own drinks from the bar as the bartender had forgotten about them. One of the worst restaurant experiences we have had. Food average.
The room was comfortable, clean and good value for money we paid £35 including breakfast.
the comfortable bed
The run down hotel - very shabby, torn chairs, The worst breakfast ever! - stale croissant, very bad quality fruit (rotten grapes and apple) Dirty cutlery (When I saw the quality of the buffet, I didn't even attempt to order anything hot from the menu even though it was included in price) Also a staff member was vacuuming while I was having breakfast, very noisy! We ordered room service food on arrival and it was awful! (Reviews written on this hotel do not match what I experienced. I need to go back to the area soon again and I will not be staying at this hotel. A truly disappointing experience.
Excellent staff, courteous, helpful, Evening meal was really good and a fair price. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice and full English cooked fresh not just stuck on a serve yourself counter. Beds so comfortable. Room clean and tidy. Would highly recommend this hotel
Could do with a little bit of tender loving care as far as the decoration goes but this in no way reflects on the quality of the staff.
The accommodation first class, breakfast and evening meal real value for money, the staff very polite and helpful....oour week end stay enjoyable, and will certainly be returning....Thank you all very much. Reg,Val and Anne.
Very dark rooms . Need better lighting
Convenient location for us visiting friends Late check-in Big room Provided child cot, all set up on arrival Breakfast
No lift, so hassle if you have luggage, child, push chair in tow. Radiators in many parts of building scalding hot, had to keep toddler away from them. Shower, powerful, but control so sensitive could not get good temperature - either too hot or too cold
we liked the staff helpfull and friendly good breakfast and real english feeling.
Easy to book in good service throughout the hotel and restaurant. Comfortable room and very clean would recommend to other and would stay here again myself.
comfortable good size room, good service and good food.
paintwork in need of an update.
Unfailingly cheerful and helpful staff. Excellent food
The whole place is looking tired and in need of updating.
Clean fresh sheets and linen
Radiator in the room was not working. The bathroom could do with a makeover, it's starting to look tired. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor (as the main light was not working). It is a bit of a performance to get the Wi-Fi.
The price was good and the service was good
The room was too hot however no radiators were on in our bedroom, the rooms decor was very old and some walls had been filled but not painted, needs an update. We were told on purchase that the room has Sky TV, however when we got there it was only freeview no sky which was a little disappointing.
Very friendly and helpful staff nice room with a large comfy bed
the suite we stayed in was lovely, restaurant was very good, food delicious. Located on main road and a function going on yet still it was really quiet. Reception staff very helpful
The suite was a bit dark in the sitting area, asked for another lamp but as the hotel was full, they couldn't "borrow" a spare from another room. The restaurant staff especially at breakfast were very efficient on arrival but once they had given coffee and taken our order on the Sunday morning it took us about 10 minutes to attract attention for more coffee.
Room in need of refurbishment
Very convenient for Bournemouth Friendly staff Good food and value
everything!! in particular the receptionist Jane who was always very cheerful and helpful
room could do with a fan as it was warm but didn't want window open because it was on edge of car park but didn't spoil our stay
Parking space receptionist
Breakfast service traffic noise from room
Comfortable clean beds Good choice of breakfast Good sized room and quiet considering it is on a busy road. Easy parking
Bathroom badly needs updating, poor shower. Décor perhaps a little tired and worn throughout.
Restaurant is very welcoming and surprisingly busy for a Monday evening. The Menu has a good selection to choose from. Although the fried eggs were too well done for me, they were replaced with fresh ones, exactly to my liking with no problem. Breakfast was also very good, staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A little Gem.
Checking in and checking out could have been quicker. But this did not spoil or detract from the enjoyment of our stay.
The place was dirty staff was rude food took ages to arrive
Room overlooked park area, nice big bed and bathroom, hot drinks tray with chocolate sachet, and biscuits good WiFi free. £9.99 for 2 meals very good also. Plenty of parking.
