location excellent facilities good looked like a four star the morning coffee was awful, breakfast buffet was cold/average, i had to wipe the crumbs from my seat before sitting. white wine in bar very nice but not chilled, used plates and glasses not cleared away despite manager walking past 2/3 times there was a wedding reception on however they were not busy. this is no excuse! |

The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Often in hotels the friendliness feels false but here it was genuine smiles! |

The spa was lovely and the treatment I had marvellous. Clean and new looking which was a plus. Quite a way from the centre of town. Our room was tiny and you could hear everything from the people next door. |

The restaurant was excellent .Staff were first class and the food delicious.Best thing about the Hotel. I found the reception staff not good enough. Rather dull and not welcoming, apart from a delightful person from usa.- She had obviously been well trained unlike the staff in the UK.Checking out was awful- Spa reception again not good enough- they weren't bothered if we were there or not. Facilities were rather squashed together. Not relaxing at all.None of the treatments were available even for 2days ahead-could have told us on arrival. |

In a beaufiful position, freindly staff Inexplicable delays in the dining room, food was excellent, but half hour too long to wait for coffee! Room on the small side. |

On this particular visit there were 2 large groups staying which unfortunately disrupted the evening meal. On our second night we specifically booked later than them but the service was really poor, it was almost as if we didnt matter. The large group were on their dessert while we were on our starters but we were left with our main meal plates in front of us for about 40minutes before the waitress cleared them. On our previous visit the service was fantastic and we are staying again next week, so I look forward to seeing how our next trip goes. |

Decor bright and welcoming. Service and gym facilities, spa very good. Staff pleasant and prompt most time with service. Food /breakfast very good and tasty. Beautiful setting for restaurant/breakfast views of beach and hill walk. Falmouth lovely area. Room cleaning i.e. Room generally clean, but not vacuumed (stayed for 3 nights...) Walls need soundproofing, can hear every crack and creek from upstairs level, esp. plumbing, toilet flushing, water taps. |

I liked the genuine welcome from friendly staff, excellent food, comfortable bed, swimming pool. The location of the hotel was perfect for our short break and overall it was a most enjoyable experience. I am afraid the usual price of the accommodation would be above our budget. I made a late booking - having decided we needed a short break - which made the hotel affordable for us. |

Very nice location - parking provided. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The SPA was a good option if the weather was not too good. The food was excellent. Restaurant overlooked the gardens and the sea. Had an enjoyable stay here. The room we were given although "upgraded" was very noisy as it was above the kitchens at the back of the hotel. Woken very early with doors slamming and there was also lots of noise from the rooms above. The fan in batchroom was not working - so the room smelt a bit damp because of the condensation. I pointed all this out on departure, the receptionist said that she would get somebody to look into it. I would stay at this hotel again, but request a quieter room away from the kitchens! |

Good location, near to the beach, lovely garden, well decorated and clean interiors. The pool and spa was very nice. The rooms which we were given were not good, one was in a half basement with only a small window at head height, the other was very small, the furniture did not fit into it for example, and had a view of the car park. The parking at the hotel was very poor, at times there were no spaces and we had to search the surrounding roads for a place to park. The Hotel had a wedding on the Saturday night with loud music and public areas overflowing. However, to be fair as we wre only stayiing one night we did not report our views to the management and give them an opportunity to improve our experience. |
