Fresh, exciting food & drink overlooking the sea in a relaxed, fun & informal environment at great value for money. The Flying Fish & Restaurant offers fresh fish and seafood from our local fishermen. Steaks, salads, grills, fresh snacks and a host of daily specials. There is a large south-facing sun terrace overlooking the gardens and the sea. Perfect for sundowners!Children are made very welcome and a Flying Fish Kids menu is available. Highly Commended in the Cornwall Tourism Awards AA Rosette, RAC Dining Award Accredited Cornish Restaurant Open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner, coffee or drinks.

The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast time wasn't restricting. The hotel and facilities were fantastic. The views spectacular. The boat/beach decor very tastefully done. Overall fantastic. We hope to be back sometime.

My stay was very comfortable and relaxing. My room was lovely, very spacious and airy. Tha staff are attentive and extremely freindly. The Spa is lovely, the staff are very approachable and helpful. I had several treatments which were just perfect. I especially enjoyed the sunny restaurant with views of the sea at breakfast. I would definately come again.

It was a shame that the sauna was out of order for the time of my stay

staff friendly

looked a bit shabby once we were there. Carpets dirty in room and common areas. Thought it was a bit more upmarket from the website.

The location, opposite the beach, beautiful gardens. A very relaxed but at the same time efficient atmosphere, all staff very welcomimg and helpful. Food excellent , the breakfasts had just about anything you could think of. I had a change of room during my stay, preplanned, the transition was very smooth.

Friendly service excellent staff good location

I slipped in the bath - not seriously - due to cleaner not being rinsed off .Bottoms of curtains were mouldy. Food not up to standard - Sunday evening - you were very busy but fish was over cooked and food not hot

The rooms lack attention to detail, and our 1st room had a smell of damp. Staff seem un-trained and lacking interest in service. Restaurant seemed slack, and is in need of tlc. Stained Chairs and cobwebs/spiders on ceilings. No Skimmed milk available on request, and had to open own wine. Presently not worth the premium cost, and tired looking, but has potential to be nice with the right management
