We were very impressed with the breakfast - by far the best I've seen in a large hotel in a very long time - well organised, fresh, well cooked and a good selection, easy to self serve.

The room was spacious and the hotel is well appointed. The food was good and they catered well for families. No direct access to the lift from the first floor bedrooms.

The hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly. They are cheerful and treat customers with great respect. We have stayed at this hotel previously and on this occasion the evening meal fell below the standard we were used to.

Parking very convenient. Common parts nicely laid out and well maintained. Food in restaurant nicely cooked and well presented. Room clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff cheerful and courteous No 'cheap' wine (say £13-£14) in restaurant. Better emphasis on vegetarian options required. Wi-fi arrangements not very user friendly. TV a lttle elderly and channel choices a little limited.

Restaurant food excellent The beds are very uncomfortable as they are too soft. Staff very professional and polite. Unfortunately bar staff did not fall into this category for the fact that they insisted you walk round a wall to the other side of the bar before being served which I found unbelievable.

i liked that is was near shops, eating places and other things like cinema bowling swimming etc. having alton towers close was good aswell i think the tv's in the rooms were extremely outdated and the rooms themselves could be doing with being updated.the over all stay was great though.

Immaculately presented hotel. Luxurious decor and fittings. Double room had only been set up for one person (one bath robe, one bottled water, one biscuit etc). Informed reception of this on Saturday afternoon, but nothing was done to correct this.

Thelocation near Trentham gardens. The helpful receptionist who sorted out the room situation. We had asked for twin beds and were given a double room but she arranged a transfer next day.

Reception staff where the best I have ever known. Really super helpfull and thopughtful. I've stayed at some fantastic hotels inc. The Manderin Oriental Bankok and the staff at the Moat House were equally as good. The Hotel is based on 2 Floors...one with a reception one with another entrance so its a little confusing. I'm sure if they designed the hotel again they would keep it all on one froor.
