My choice of evening email was too hot and tasteless.
Very friendly staff, lovely quality beer and a comfortable room.
My wife has coeliac and the kitchen were extremely went out of their wayl in helping with gluten free options for breakfast and dinner. Room although not large was comfortable, clean and well furnished. Overall good value for money
Great food, had evening meal and breakfast and couldn't fault either - delicious!! Exceptionally lovely couple running the pub, the place was clean, comfy, welcoming and totally smashing!!
Gluten free bread at breakfast. Clear tasty beer.
bathroom needs updating

I informed on my booking that we would be arriving late but definitely before midnight and asked them to let me know if any problems. I also called on the day to check if everything was fine and the man who answered the phone said there was no problem at all regards time. When we were 10 minutes away arriving at the property, and almost 11pm when I received a phone call from a lady which I understood is the owner of the hotel and she started the conversation shouting: - Where are you? After explaining we were a few minutes away and that I have informed my late arrival on the booking and over the phone she gave a go on me for being so late and said that if I don't arrive by 11pm they would go to sleep. I was so angry about that that if I had an option I would have gone somewhere else, but at this time and on an easter holiday was a bit difficult to change plans. The room is just about ok, bed is comfortable and clean but bathroom is not very well taken care of. Wifi doesnt work in the room.
Location is ok if you have a car. The staff at the pub were nice and friendly.
There was a funny spell in our room.
The food and service was good.
Good breakfast and good service
On main road in craven arms, good food in restaurant for evening meal
There was nothing that would put me off staying there again.
Location is excellent for Ludlow Racecourse, Ludlow town centre, Stokesay Castle and the Shropshire Hills.
very friendly staff, large portions of food and only a 5 minute walk to the local supermarket
Wifi weak in room and toilet was noisy and the sign saying we would be responsible for any plumber's call out fee had us worried! Noisy water pipes in our room.
Clean sheets and comfortable bed, safe parking.
Great location close to station and good walks. Lovely food and staff
Everything! owner very welcoming and helpful. Key to come and go as we pleased after pub hours. Very comfortable bed and lots of 'home' comforts inc. tea / coffee making and toiletries. Breakfast superb - lots of choice.
Didn't really have a bad experience, only thought the decor was needing updated, mainly in the stairways. Bathroom had recently been redone and the dining area was very pleasant.
Excellent menu of good quality food, well prepared and presented. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Warm welcome on arrival with the offer of help with the bags, most unusual these days.
The room was spacious, clean comfortable and very quiet. It is a good location for walking
Bin wasn't emptied in bedroom from last occupant
Food was excellent
Excellent value for money. Comfy bed, warm room, excellent food and really pleasant staff. The best cuppa ever at breakfast!!
Cheap. Clean and good food
The access roads to the pub were shut,at the end of a long journey I was sent on a wild goose chase if a diversion. The local roads had been shut for some time, yet no one at the pub thought to alert me beforehand. I would advise other visitors to check for road works before booking in here.
Pleasant staff, excellent breakfast, and a good choice of local food
Some difficulties that were not the fault of the Inn, around transport. A road being closed caused a lot of issues for all concerned and the sign posting of this was poor.
The staff owners were friendly, pleased to see you and very attentive. The food was excellent well presented and the specials board was changing on a daily basis.
A bit cold in the room. Ok for night time
Friendly and food
great value great food friendly locals and staff
