On main road in craven arms, good food in restaurant for evening meal
Location is excellent for Ludlow Racecourse, Ludlow town centre, Stokesay Castle and the Shropshire Hills.
There was nothing that would put me off staying there again.
very friendly staff, large portions of food and only a 5 minute walk to the local supermarket
Clean sheets and comfortable bed, safe parking.
Wifi weak in room and toilet was noisy and the sign saying we would be responsible for any plumber's call out fee had us worried! Noisy water pipes in our room.
Great location close to station and good walks. Lovely food and staff
Everything! owner very welcoming and helpful. Key to come and go as we pleased after pub hours. Very comfortable bed and lots of 'home' comforts inc. tea / coffee making and toiletries. Breakfast superb - lots of choice.
Excellent menu of good quality food, well prepared and presented. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Warm welcome on arrival with the offer of help with the bags, most unusual these days.
Didn't really have a bad experience, only thought the decor was needing updated, mainly in the stairways. Bathroom had recently been redone and the dining area was very pleasant.
The room was spacious, clean comfortable and very quiet. It is a good location for walking
Food was excellent
Bin wasn't emptied in bedroom from last occupant
Excellent value for money. Comfy bed, warm room, excellent food and really pleasant staff. The best cuppa ever at breakfast!!
Cheap. Clean and good food
Pleasant staff, excellent breakfast, and a good choice of local food
The access roads to the pub were shut,at the end of a long journey I was sent on a wild goose chase if a diversion. The local roads had been shut for some time, yet no one at the pub thought to alert me beforehand. I would advise other visitors to check for road works before booking in here.
The staff owners were friendly, pleased to see you and very attentive. The food was excellent well presented and the specials board was changing on a daily basis.
Some difficulties that were not the fault of the Inn, around transport. A road being closed caused a lot of issues for all concerned and the sign posting of this was poor.
Friendly and food
A bit cold in the room. Ok for night time
great value great food friendly locals and staff
Staff very helpful Central location - walking distance to railway station Food was good quality, extensive range of vegetables and well cooked
Breakfast only served from 8am. I needed to leave at 7.30am so couldn't have breakfast - could offer a continental option? Walls quite thin, could hear next door's TV Only Sunday menu (roast, salmon, risotto) available - no regular bar food which I would have preferred If walking, ask for a bath!
We stayed here for a wedding, about 5.1/2 miles away,I ring the owner up, to find a taxi company in Craven Arms, he give us a really reliable driver, the hotel was easy to find from the station, the room although dated, was clean, comfortable, and warm, lovely breakfast, and served excellent evening meal, we enjoyed our stay
Clean, warm and friendly. Really good food at reasonable prices and a fair choice for an evening meal. A really nice breakfast to set you up for the day. Just what you need when your working a home from home with a bar!
Bed was a little soft for me but I can sleep on a plank.
Friendly Owner. Pub had nice locals. Single Room fairly comfortable if a bit small, but good size bathroom. Good location 5 minute walk from train station. Good Value for money.
No negatives from me!
Liked the welcome, the food, the room and the staff. Good central location for exploring. This Inn, like so many, provides a welcoming atmosphere.
Nothing to dislike.
lovely welcome. nice room If u have a meal there, I have to say the food is good quality real good value too
All of it, good breakfast.
Doors a little hard to open and close.
Welcoming host and warm ambience. We had an evening meal which was good value and we breakfasted which was a good traditional breakfast. We'd booked four rooms and all quite acceptable and comfortable.
It was a very cold night outside and possibly the heating could have been extended as rather cold in the bedroom we were in later in the evening.
Good food and room 4 was quite large with a very comfortable bed.
Craven Arms doesn't have that much to offer.
