Comfortable accommodation separate from the farm house above two garages overlooking the farm yard & fields. We had a full cooked breakfast each morning, tea or coffee & toast to order, bought up to our room in a large basket! Nice touch was home made cakes on arrival, and throughout our stay! Perfect base to explore the Severn Valley by steam train or by car! Also close by is Worcester with it's cathedral, river & canal locks.
Not much really, except we kept banging our heads on the sloping walls while bending down to use the electric sockets.
Rural location on a farm. Loved that although a B&B it was a separate annex for privacy but you still get breakfast brought to you on a tray! Delicious homemade cake on arrival! Lovely friendly folk who gave us a great recommendation of where to eat too. Really recommend as a base for exploring the area.
The mattress could have been a little more comfy...maybe just a mattress topper would do the trick. Also a bedside lamp for softer lighting. Just suggestions without hoping to sound too fussy!? Wouldn't stop me from going back.
I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in comfortable, cute and comfortable situation. I was only stopping over for the night after a wedding function nearby, but the owner family made me feel more than welcome with a first class friendly service, when I eventually found it!
In the first instance, I found the location difficult to find, but once it is located, there is no problem and the remoteness is appreciated! I would recommend a clearer instruction to direct the driver.
We went to a wedding in Curradine Barn and this location was ideal. Room was very comfortable, all facilities very modern and clean. Breakfast was very good.
The privacy and personal touches, such as muffins, fresh yogurt and fruit in rm.... The accommodating friendly reception was quality. The surroundings were excellent and highly recommended for a tranquil get away
I had to sleep a couple of nights at Stone Hill Farm because of work. My stay was really fab, I've enjoyed it so much. What a beautiful family! Anna is amazing, she not only welcomed me to her farm, but she offered to help to get to locations and back to my train station. I really felt like I was home, definitely the best B&B I've stayed in. The room was very clean, everything was perfect. The breakfast delicious, I had fresh coffee, so good! Anna is really amazing and the farm is gorgeous.
I had a feeling of being a very special visitor there, the breakfast was homemade and very very tasty, especially cake !!! Two young gentlemen (6 and 4 years) were willing to coummunicate and to walk around telling the names of the animals and explaining the farm business :)))
Friendly, given space to ourselves. Great location, refreshing and relaxing. Homemade cake and fab breakfast. Certainly will go back!
This is a newly built B&B facility on a farm. The location, outlook and countryside is fabulous. The owners have a good eye for detail and go out of their way to make the stay comfortable, even finding restaurant reservations.
We were made to feel so welcome! The food was fantastic. Well worth the money. We will definitely be back to stay again.
The family were friendly and welcoming... Fresh strawberries and homemade cakes awaited our arrival Having your own front door was fabulous. We were there for a wedding and they gave us a lift to the venue which was great. And the breakfast..oh the breakfast words cannot describe delicious doesn't even begin to do it justice
What's not to like
This is so much more than a B&B. The room is beautiful and comfortable, with amazing views of the countryside from every window. It is on a working farm and breakfast has meat and eggs (and milk, I think) from the farm. When we arrived there was home made chocolate cake on the side and milk in the mini fridge, with a selection of cereals. Anna and her husband couldn't do enough for, driving us to the wedding we were attending and then the next day to the train station. Amazing service and attention to detail.
Being separate from the owner's accommodation. The location. The breakfast The friendly owner
A sign at the end of the drive would have helped
Very welcoming and friendly Great breakfast Peaceful Views to die for!
Nothing more to say other than near perfect.
Checkout could do with being an hour later.
lovely room, owner's really helpful. A good base for the local countryside.
We got lost trying to find it - sat nav would have been very useful, fortunately the owner came and rescued us.
A lovely hostess, with lovely touches that made us feel special.
Friendly host, storybook farm, wonderful breakfast, delicious cake. All the advantages of a B&B without intruding in someone's home. Our son particularly liked the geese (and the breakfast!).
Not the cleanest B&B I've stayed in.
Stone Hill Farm is a treat to visit. Delightful owners, wonderful farm produce served, beautiful surroundings, and very comfortable. 10 out of 10!
Sloping walls of studio room liable to catch you out!
Friendly and helpful owners. Excellent welcoming cakes and drinks. Lovely breakfast.
After very unfortunate circumstances my partner and I had to cancel our stay at stone hill, however this unexpected and was at short notice and probably of much inconvenience to the owners at stone Hill, however the lady I contacted was extremely understanding and polite during our phone conversation, We were very dissapointed about not being able to stay at this lovely b&b and will definitely re book for a visit as soon as possible.
We stayed here with our 17 month old daughter as we were going to a wedding just down the road. There was plenty of space in the room to put up a travel cot (we brought our own) at the other end so we could watch TV after she'd gone to bed. Anna was very helpful - she booked us a child friendly pub to go to on our first night, and brought a plastic plate and spoon with the breakfast hamper for our daughter in case they'd be helpful. Breakfast was delicious - bacon, eggs and sausages straight from the farm - and kept us going until we ate later in the day at the wedding. We would definitely stay again.
There was no bin in the room, but other than that everything was great!
Very friendly. Even gave us a lift to the wedding venue. Recommended.
Excellent B & B - lovely room and very welcoming hosts. We stayed for a weekend in October 2013 to attend a wedding at Curradine Barns. Anna was very kind and gave us a lift to the wedding.
Only downside is there is no wifi.
