Comfortable room surprisingly quiet given on a34. Good breakfast but limited choice of fruit. Excellent cooked breakfast.
Some attention to detail of cleanliness needed eg chairs in dining room. Decor a bit tired.
Good bed and room.
In the attic above my room there was an animal crawling around (cat chasing mise?) Rooms could use an "Update"
The breakfast was very nice. We also ate at the hotel at night the meal was first class.
The pool was excellent for 2 year old grandchild. Gym useful. Hotel comfortable. Lovely stay.
New refurbished room - nice bathroom design and comfy bed.
Very friendly, welcoming staff.
cannot think of anything
Nothing at all!
The staff are great The breakfast
The decorations are getting tired and need to be refreshed
breakfast was nice
For £170 a night I expected a lot more than the Stone House hotel had to offer. The place was very dated with bad taste in furniture and far too many rips in the carpets.
Pool. Breakfast. Bed. Staff. Location. Parking. Magazines and papers in the bar area.
Main bar area was very cold could have done with a lovely fire in stead of the beautiful fireplace being blocked up. The drinks were very expensive 9 pounds for 2 gin and tonic. Tv in room too small.
Modern and tasteful. Good breakfasts
Noisy crass wedding party
lack of hot water, or indeed no water at all part way through a shower.
Cold dining room and lounge areas, boxing day evening Buffett was a disgrace.
Opportunity to improve service. Did not get correct breakfast order and food bland and cold
We had problems with the room - it was not ready even at 9pm - had to move us to a new room. Breakfast in the morning took 90 minutes to finish due to the inattentiveness of the staff in not seeing that we had finished our porridge and clearing the bowls so that the hot meal could be started. Their attitude seemed to be that it was our fault for having the porridge. Doubtful we would stay there again
Very comfortable bed and room, lovely and quiet, excellent breakfast too
A long way to the room with a suitcase, up and down stairs and lots of doors
I have recently been diagnosed as needing a Gluton free diet and the restaurant staff and the chef could not have been mote helpful in meeting my needs.
Excellent breakfast and there was a christmas do on but our bedroom was the other end of the hotel so no noise.
Bar service was slow.
Friendly staff, especially in making you feel welcome even with a boisterous toddler. Excellent breakfast on our B and B basis. Able to use swimming pool (and gym if needed) which we took advantage of and baby loved it.
We only arrived late and left early so no chance touse all the facilities, but the hotel was very comfortable and friendly
Location It was really old decor but yet classic and comfortable
Comfort of Room Quality of service Value for money
food choice entertainment availability
Meals were very good
Room was tatty
Dynamic and proactive waiter and reception - Helped me find my business venue destination for the next day. Waiters were witty and positive
Room 7 was near a constantly used and noisy door and outside was an air conditioning unit that would start up at all hours with plenty of noise as well.
