Apart from the things mentioned below we found that the hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly. We found the bed was very hard and to someone with complaints such as arthritis it can be painful to sleep on. also we found that steps leading from the car park to the reception area although very nice in appearance had no edge strips showing the edge of each step, from the top looking down it was hard to distinguish one step from another and with someone with poor eyesight they could easily miss a step and fall down them, as I very nearley did... |

It was fairly convenient to the venue I was attending. It did not provide room service as there was no chef on site. |

The staff were all helpful and the room was good and everything was as advertised. The evening meal, although very nice and well cooked took far too long to be served. We waited nearly an hour for our first course and there were only two other tables with people on them. One couple left because of the time it took and the basic nature of the menu. |

I could park my car all day prior to staying, and all day after. The breakfast was very nice and I wish I had had time to try the sauna. |

Although we stayed at a discounted price, we were treated just like the other guests, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Excellent clean friendly hotel, will use again. Would reccomend to anybody. On the first night of our stay, the night porter tried to gain access to our room in the early hours of the morning whilst we were asleep. He had not realised it was booked out, even though we had the security chain on this did not seem to dampen his efforts to gain access to our room. |

Reasonably efficient staff and service, large car park, adequate rooms which were very good value for the praice we paid. The beds were comfortable. A substantial breakfast was the best bit. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, especially the tiled wals. The sink was badly cracked. The bar was so exceptionally dreary it was almost a feature. |
