Overall stay was a pleasant experience, with the hotel meeting all our expectations and catering for our requirements. An ideal base for our itinery. Car parking was stretched when the hotel was hosting private functions. |

The free wifi access - and swimming pool The room was cramped and the bathroom was a bit smelly due to lack of air circulating in the shower area. slightly dated appearance. |

Very friendly and helpful staff, in fact staff in general were as good as any I have seen in world hotels. Breakfasts are very good. External appearance is attractive and lobby area including dining areas are also acceptable. The standard of decor in my room was very poor indeed. The room was frankly scruffy and in need of refurbishment. It also showed signs of poor cleaning, splashes to furniture etc. Staff tell me they are slowly 'doing up' the rooms. My room was not serviced one day. The pool is very basic and not child friendly. |

Good location to head off and explore the Lakes. The bed linen had clearly not been cleaned. Many hairs and stains on the linen and headboard. Urrggh! |

Very good breakfast and dinner and helpful friendly staff. The room's decorations were a little tired and the bed rather lumpy. |

Not much. Convenience of having bar & dinning on site. Lots. Room noisy due to sound system in hotel area below. Neither room nor pool area was very clean. I felt the need to clean the phone, table top and sink\shelf in bathroom before using. Room was cramped with poorly placed furniture which was chipped & scratched & distressed looking. Internet connection was poor. Dining room walls were very dirty. |

It was mostly clean and tidy and the food was ok. The bed was comfy and there was free wi-fi which was just as well... We didn't try all the facilities on offer so I can't comment on the quality of the bar, pool etc. Only had 4 tv channels, swimming pool looked more like a large bath, food service at breakfast was sloppy and inattentive, standard of housekeeping was poor (they forgot to wash our cups out one morning). I only found 2 friendly members of staff throughout my stay... and one of those was taking my money at the end... |

Unfortunately nothing. The hotel was grossly overpriced, the room was dirty and extremely shabby. The towels were tiny, no hairdrier. I ordered a latte and sent it back twice as it was truly disgusting. We ended up having continental breakfast in our room as breakfast was too late (we were diving) and it was cold and unappetising. |

Food was great and the service was very good. Plenty of space to lounge around after a meal and drink. The room was quite small for the price paid. Also I thought it was a little 'tired'. The bed was also very hard and the windows were very damp. |
