Just a 5-minute walk from central Kidderminster, the hotel is set on highway A456, within easy reach of many local attractions, including West Midlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Railroad.
Score from 195 reviews Very good
Restaurant staff excellent especially the Rest Mgr. Fillet steak was not as ordered but food generally tasty and very well presented. I am an irregular guest but will certainly continue to patronise Stone Manor.
Rooms due an upgrade which I gather is iminent
Location Room facilities (but long walk to it) Décor excellent Breakfast
Room too hot Bar shut to residents 11.00pm and wait for bar staff
Friendly staff Spotlessly clean Lovely food
Rooms were too hot
The setting, the dining experience, the room,
The bathroom could have been more updated.
The staff were unfailingly pleasant, polite and professional. The atmosphere was welcoming and the room comfortable. This was a fortunate last-minute booking, and I greatly enjoyed walking in the beautiful grounds of this excellent hotel.
Very clean and comfy room
Hotel & Grounds Room
Staff not very friendly or helpful. Could have done more to help us with breakfast considering it was their fault we did not received wake up call. Had to look elsewhere which took the rest of the morning. Ruined what was supposed to be a perfect 1st anniversary.
Staff, friendly helpful and efficient. Hotel, clean tidy and nice atmosphere. Restaurant, good service from attentive staff, and quality food.
Good value.lovely location,friendly staff,excellent food.
dull and drery room decorations making the rooms dark.noisy wordrobe door,no grab handle in shower bath.but still enjoyed our stay .
Staff quickly supplied an electric fire to heat the bedroom and during the next day the bedroom radiator was repaired. The Headwaiter did his best to make up for the deficiencies of the kitchen. The bill for dinner was discounted. Breakfast on the second morning was much better.
The central heating in our Executive Room and in the bathroom did not work. The rooms were cold and the bathroom remained this way. Breakfast on our first morning was awful! Empty fruit bowls, bacon like cardboard, mushrooms stuck to the container and little scrambled egg. Despite breakfast we decided to have Dinner in the Restaurant; a big mistake! Flambéed food was good and hot, that cooked in the kitchen was, like the white wine, lukewarm with pink pork and an interminable delay
Lovely room. I arrived three hours before check in and they accommodated us, no problem. Would stay again!
Very comfortable,great surroundings,interesting property,good staff,value for money.
Bed was comfortable , gardens were gorgeous , perfect wedding or celebration courtly side setting , front approach very inn pressie
Rancid chocolate eclairs on poor cream tea, sad looking sandwiches although scones lovely. Waiter helping himself to breakfast before guests finished. Chef at bang on 930 emptying buffet whether guests wanted further items or not, chef banging clattering emptying hot water before we had finishing eating, really rude and disrespectful .obviously not serving after 930 which is perfectly acceptable but please wait till we finish eating before you clear the decks , and porky waiter only needed to wait another 2 min and he could have scoffed as much as he wanted when it was wheeled into the kitchen , spoiled the birthday experience really , waitress was sweet though, really nice.
The restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. Staff helpful and polite
The wall paper in our executive room showed signs of age and the bathroom was a little tired.
apart from the distance to the room every thing was great
room 58 was a long way to walk
The beautiful grounds & the open, relaxing space.
The wi-fi was pretty poor in sections of the hotel, especially the rooms furthest away from Reception.
The staff were very considerate and supportive.
The fact that there were steps which my disabled mother found difficult to manage. I had advised that my mother found steps difficult prior to booking, but nothing was said about steps down to the room, before we arrived.
The hotel was perfect for the Severn valley railway.
A bigger choose of bar snacks would have been nice.
This is a lovely old hotel in a quiet setting.
the four poster bed and the shower facility

Cosy log fires. Excellent meal, superb chef. Very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet comfortable room
