The breakfast was really good, the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal and that also was of a good standard. |

Pleasant reception when I arrived. Plenty of parking in a quiet road. Good quality linen but the room was rather shabby and the tv and some of the lights didn't work. Excellent location though! |

Easy to access at any time- no night curfew/pass codes, and there is parking. Room comfortable and clean. The restaurant was closed (bank holiday Monday). Had I known this in advance, I could have booked a restaurant in town. However, I had a fruitless search around because many places were also shut. We ended up with a snack. |

It was perfect for what we wanted - a bed for the night and a decent breakfast. |

Breakfast was huge and although we didn't eat much in the hotel (we spent a lot of time visiting family/friends) the food menu was interesting and Sunday Lunch was excellent. It isn't far from the City Centre and close to Victoria Park (5mins walk) and the Universities (10 to 15 mins walk).. |

There was parking available and a room was reserved for me The hotel is not very clean. My room was old and dusty, the shower cubicle had not been cleaned. The water was cold and the shower tray acted as a bath. The bedding was old and scratchy and did not look clean and fresh. |

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast included in price. Easy and quick bus ride up the hill from Leicester railway station. Good area, a short amble to Victoria Park and the excellent Old Horse pub! Room quality was very basic and right up in the rafters. Could well be because it was one of the last available. Wooden stairs for this room were extremely steep, narrow and winding; genuinely dangerous if with large or heavy cases. Called late at night to ask how to get there the next afternoon from the station and the foreign man on duty was hard to understand and didn't know which bus no.s went there or where the on/off stops were. Every hotel receptionist should know that info. Turned out it was not far so a taxi wouldn't be too painful ! |

My room smelt of feet and the shower room smelt of wee. The walls were so thin. If I could speak punjabi I would have understood every word the gentleman in the next room was saying on his mobile in the early hours of the morning. It was very stuffy and hot all over the hotel. |

The room was comfortable with lovely clean linen. comfortable bed. excellent tea and coffee making facilities. Very well placed for the university The breakfast room struggled to cope with the number of guests because of the busy period. The corridors did not reflect the standard of the rooms. |

the price was reasonable, taking into account free parking and a full breakfast included. It was close to the venue we were attending the rooms were adequate, no more. signs of damp on the wall. the stairs were steep and narrow. |

Big room, clean, comfortable beds, 24 hour reception. There is no lift or ramp for your heavy suitcase. Limited parking too. Carpet in the reception/communal area is a bad 60s fashion error, and gives an inaccurately poor first impression, as the room was good. |

The location was good in terms of city centre and local amenities and the street was quiet, breakfast was quite good The hotel was shabby and some fittings (E.G. wash hand basin) were in need of repair, reception was poor (receptionist too busy chatting on phone to attend to guests) |

It was very well placed for the festival we were attending. The breakfasts were good. Because the hotel was full we were given the honeymoon suite. This was fine for our needs. If we had been on honeymoon I would have hoped for something special which it was not. |

Staff were helpful and polite. The room was v odd and the carpet dirty. Bathroom needed major work and there was noise from the car park access alley. |

The restaurant was very good with a wide variety of food & wine, the waitress attentive. I thought the room was rather small as a double for single occupancy. It needed re-decorating and the bed was uncomfortable. The tv had 'waves' up and down the pictures on all channels. There are no lifts. |

We were allocated the 'honeymoon suite' which was novel. There was a ticking clock right above the bed which kept me awake for most of the night. The corridors were very hot, and the room was cold. The windows were open in our room when we arrived, but even after closing them, the room didn't warm up. It would've been helpful if there were more plug sockets available in the room. Towels looked a bit tired, need replacing. Television was small. |
