To be totally private you would need to stay in your bedroom but food and drink in the bedrooms is not permitted. I do like my cuppa or a glass of wine when watching the TV.
Also, we should have read the small print about the breakfast. With Booking.com the breakfast consisted of fruit juice, choice of tea or coffee, yoghurt, cereal, fresh pineapple and toast with preserve. The English was an extra £5 each and mine consisted of 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 mushroom and 1/2 a tomato. I think because we had read the amazing reviews and seen the pictures of the breakfast we were really looking forward to a feast. It was however good quality produce and freshly cooked.
Sara had the balance between friendly and business-like just right and greeted us with a welcoming smile. Beautiful home, providing beautiful rooms and views, spotlessly clean, very comfy bed, quality toiletries, towels, bedding etc and yes the brownies are delicious. It was nice to be able to take our owns drinks and snacks and Sara was happy for us to use her fridge and ice cubes (perfect for the G&T).
The aromatherapy treatments were amazing and we were allowed to stay until after 13.00hrs, without charge. This ensured we had the full benefit of the relaxation rather than be rushed off at the usual 10.30 checkout deadline.
