It is situated in an excellent position, it has very good facilities and the rooms are excellently clean and very comfy and the bar is a relaxing place for a drink. The car park pricing is very steep costing you £23.

Location, the room facilities were comfortable and I believe it was good value for money. Only a few negatives during our stay. One being that we were asleep in bed during the afternoon and the hotel porter came into the room, after only knocking once (obviously we did not answer because we were asleep), he wanted to know if we had a double bed with room to put something underneath it. I thought he surely should of checked the system to see if anybody was checked into the room and if they were not to disturb! Also the mini bar does not have any refreshments in it, when we called down to the bar to order some we were told there is a charge of £5 extra to bring them to our room! Which I thought was a little steep considering two soft drinks equalled £6. This would not have been a problem had the mini bar been stocked.

Great location and facilities. The stay was paid for in advance but the front desk didn't ask for a swipe of my card at check in which then caused some issues when I ordered room service.

It was fine, however late at night I went to get something out of the safe and the door came off the cupboard, but they were fine with it and sorted it out in the morning. Plus they had a nice greeter who's name was Keith Wellington. Will always remember that name.

It is an excellent hotel located in an extremely attractive city centre location, convenient for trains, and local transport links- particularly good tram ride to Meadowhall shopping. The staff were top rate were more than accomodating

Central location (came for a wedding in the Town Hall). Staff were excellent but were understaffed on reception point. The rooms are very comfortable but I had trouble adjusting the room temperature. The bedding is very basic, the duvet very thin. The toilet tissue is of very poor quality - in a hotel such as this I would expect better than this. The light over the bed is inadequate for reading in bed. I was surprised not to find a staircase at the opposite end of the corridor (where my room was) to the lift.

What a beautiful hotel this is, perfect location! This would have been the perfect trip but the spa was a massive let down, the pool was great but the sauna and the steam room were cold!! We could not get the temp over 65 degrees in the sauna, obviously they had turned the heater down, a spa with a cold sauna and a cold steam room doesn't really work for me!

Good location, pool and spa For a 4 star hotel, we found it very poor.we had the junior suite, but had to ask for an extra dressing gown as they had only provided one, and there was an iron burn on the carpet, also the hot water for the bath take 10mins to heat up. Ok if you can get it cheap, but not worth more than £70-80 per night. No parking

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been extremely satisfied with the service here. The location is right in the centre of town, overlooking the Peace Gardens and adjacent to the Winter Gardens. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, modern and clean, as are the bar and lounge areas. The breakfasts are excellent, good quality and lots of choice. It is always our first choice of hotels when staying in Sheffield.

The location of the hotel was ideal for us as we were going to a concert at the carling academy, the hotel itself was modern and stylish and the room was spacious and clean. Would definetely recommend this hotel it's ideal for everyone. We were mis-informed on how much the breakfast would be we were told it would be £7 but when we checked out it was actually £16.50, little stunned at the price.

Great location right in the heart of the city There is no car park although you can use their own valet parking (expensive) or drive yourself to the local NCP where they have a cheap deal. The rooms are very hot and the windows do not open although this can be solved by using the air con. There is no jacuzzi in the spa just a windowless pool and a thermal suite of various steam rooms, sauna, ice room and shower. There is a fair amount of noise at night from the corridor caused by people shutting their doors. A blown light bulb was not replaced even after we asked and staff were not helpful about explaining the system for getting the cheap parking, we had to ask at the car park.
