Stracey Hotel

the attention to detail was superb.i have also never experienced such good service and politeness.nothing was to much trouble and i wish everywhere could at least be nearly as good as this hotel!it was jazz night when we stayed this was great.the food was excellent.i cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The excellant greeting and atmosphere, the compact though fully equiped room and the comfortable public areas.

The staff were very helpfull,and the rooms were nicely decorated,a bit small,but we were only there for the weekend.The website indicated that only continental breakfast was served,but a full english was available,at no extra cost,this was a nice surprise,the should change thier website ,as some possible guests may be put off by only a continental breakfast

We stayed in room 5,and there was not a mirror in the bedroom,you had to go into the bathroom for one,and you could not use a hairdryer or hair tongs in the bathroom.

Hotel didn't have parking on site, parked on the side road but if busier may not be able to park close, if weather is poor a problem for me.

Pleasant staff, clean room with comfortable bed and effective shower. Nice meal in restaurant.

No hangers and nowhere properly to hang clothes (not conducive to keeping ironed shirts smart).

It was a very clean and welcoming hotel. Staff were very friendly. Room was a great size for a couple with a toddler.

The stairs are very steep and narrow which made it quite difficult for our 2 year old. We did not like that the "breakfast" which was included was only continental and a supplement of £6.50 was charged for a cooked breakfast. Didn't feel that this was made clear on booking.

Clean, comfortable although room 21 was very small.

Shower was not fixed to wall in room 21. Room 19 was cold. We were not told until breakfast that we had to pay extra for a cooked breakfast.

good location - very close to train station and football ground. Lovely decor, clean and the best shower I've ever had!!

The rooms are small, but perfectly formed

Conveniently located to the railway station and Norwich FC Easy walking distance from town including riverside walk. Phoned to ask for early check in and room and key was ready when we arrived. Lovely bathroom with excellent shower. Quite despite its location next to Royal Mail depot. Near excellent pub with food and real ale, the Coach and Horses

Room was very small. Rate included breakfast and was not clarified that breakfast was continental only and full English was extra. Breakfast was tasty but not extensive.

The hotel has been beautifully totally refitted and the staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We were able to access the Norfolk Broads and the coast easily as the hotel was so close to the station. Norwich itself is a lovely city to spend time in and explore

The hotel is located right next to the railway station,very convenient. Facilities are new and the room is clean and tidy. All the staff there is very helpful and friendly.

Everything. Especially the comfortable and supportive beds. The best hotel bed I have slept in in 40 years of travelling. Cleanliness, helpfulness of staff and access for people with walking difficulties. Also had an arrangement with a really reliable taxi firm.

I thought the seating in the bar and eating area was very low and mostly with no arms. A bit difficult for older people and disabled but fine for active people.
