Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room fantastic. Atmosphere of Hotel was warm and welcoming. It had an edge that other Hotels don't provide! Loved it .
Could do with putting up navigation signs around the town to assist with finding Hotel.
great atmosphere, very welcoming staff, also very nicely decorated interior, easy parking
as we are smokers it was not much fun standing in the pouring rain. par for the course these days i suppose but a covered area would have been nice
Clean, comfy, good food excellent value for money.
Everything!! I have stayed many times and it's always perfect.
Everything in the hotel appeared new, especially our bedroom and the bathroom fittings and tiling which were first class. We were at the end of a corridor , so it was really quiet. I think the hotel can be very busy /noisy perhaps on Fridays/Sats with weddings and functions. But there is good space downstairs in the bars , lounges etc.Same problem in all good hotels these days.
Nothing really. Pointless just to nit pick - I have stayed at inferior 5 *
lovely big bed, we were there on our honeymoon, we are from New Zealand but have family in and around Llanelli, so decided to get married here in front of all of them.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Noisy, due to a party being held at the hotel
It was wonderful. The staff was nice and warm. The best was wonderful and the view was great! Great little bar and the breakfast was awesome.
Good location, easy parking, good views, room well appointed, helpful staff
The first room we were allocated had no view. Noisy wedding on the Saturday evening (though we were warned about this when we changed room). There could have been more table service at breakfast.
Car park to small when a wedding function is on we stayed for 3 nights and weddings on two of those nights so I had to park on street outside.
The friendliness of the staff. The room decor The food quality. I liked everything !
There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
Nice rooms. Restaurant on premises serving nice food, though again overpriced taking into account the location in middle of Wales, when prices are more like in London. Nicely laid out so the wedding party (there's always a wedding party) was no interruption to us. Good breakfast. Great staff and service.
Beds are impossibly soft to the point where it's difficult to sleep on them. Price for the hotel is too high for middle of Wales and away from any major points - presumably as hotel is popular wedding venue. The hotel really good do with a pool for these prices.
Excellent & friendly staff, comfy bed, cozy room
Bath not as advertised, extremely limited food choices for vegetarians, food quality ok
Excellent service Pleasant staff Good standard of cuisine Handy location Comfortable rooms Nice dining area
Noisy wedding guests Double room too small, snug rather than spacious No air-con in bedrooms
The hotel is very well run with friendly, helpful staff. The location is ideal for visiting the coastline and the Botanic Garden. Breakfast was varied and well cooked. We will recommend the hotel to those wanting a comfortable break in the fresh air of the Gower coast.
Very worn out and in need of attention.
the helpyourself cooked breafeast was very good. tea and coffee facilities in the room . very clean hotel.
the rooftop which was a sunspot and very pleasant to sit out had no bar which was very disappointing for all that we spoke to.
Everything! People, views, location, food hospitality, clean, great value for money, going again in oct
Breakfast - cheap, tasteless ingredients
Reception area, bar & restaurants are pleasant.
Bathrooms seriously need updating! Room is clean & basic but quality doesn't meet the price of the room.
Not enough parking as there were weddings on.
The hotel is very nice, the room is big, very comfortable and the decoration is based around a vintage theme which gives the hotel a high standard level and a positive experience. The food in the restaurant was the best meal we had in the UK. It is definitely worth to have lunch or dinner when staying at the hotel. Breakfast was also very good with many different options. Staff was very nice and helpful.
The only negative point was that our room was a family room and since we had a door serving as a division between rooms, we could hear many noise from the other room that was connected to ours.
Excellent wifi Good location Nice breakfast Good staff Good tea/coffee facility
Cold room Smelly bathroom Shower average Shower tray blockage
The beds were large and comfortable.
The picture on the website is only a tiny part of the building. The actual hotel is based in a dated new building. Rooms are ok but not worth 4 stars, hallways and bathroom are dated. Reception staff not very helpful. We were planning to visit Beacons national park (closest national park to the hotel) and asked whether there was a place where we could get a map of the park like a visitors centre. The girl at reception replied "I don't know" and then ignored my question. She did not look it up on the internet or ask other receptionists for advice. This is not the service we expect from a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was ok, but English breakfast greasy. This hotel has the standards of a very average 3 star hotel
