Easy parking. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. TV didn't work which was frustrating as I was keen to watch the rugby . Staff attended promptly but were unable to resolve the problem. Offered another room but decided I would remain rather than pack up and move.

Although a 4* to retain this and current charging level refurbishment will be required in the near future The bar area was very sterile, ie set in a long line of seats and small tables.

Have stayed before due to service and quality, whilst going to rugby game at Parcy Scarlets. Was not informed that large corporate christmas functions taking place both nights with limited food, and bar service due to amount of people, and no private bar for other residents to use.

Great staff, good location. The only issue I had was when we arrived our card key for our room would not work, after 4 trips up and down the stairs the manager eventually opened the door for us. We were not given another key so every time we wanted access to our room a member of staff had to let us in. A little off putting but not life threatning so all was well.

Staff were ok. Way too expensive for what this is, a large, mediocre hotel that benefits from the fact it's the only place in town. My room was dark and dingy, actually partly subterranean. Temperature was so high we had to leave the window open all night - in December!! The hotel was bursting with weddings and events so jam packed, not very relaxing. Overall I felt I had vastly overpaid for this room and wouldn't want to stay there again.

Internally the hotel was lovely and very clean. There was sufficient furniture and space in the room. The bathroom suite was lovely, although having the toilet roll on a low holder was strange. I had a meal in the bar and it was very nice. The hotel is poorly signed outside, so initially I drove past it. The reception is only signboards immediately outside the door. So when I parked my car in the car park, I had to guess which way to walk. When I booked the hotel I asked for a contintental breakfast to take away early morning. When I booked in I again asked for an early take out breakfast and was told it would be ok. When I checked out the messages had not been actioned. This was a shame as it spoiled what had been a good experience.

I stay here pretty frequently and always it's threlaxed nature of the place while they maintain high standards in all aspects of hotel keeping. The one (minor) complaint is the racket that persisted from wedding reception guests in the car park until into the small hours.

The room was hot and small. There was a wedding reception at the Hotel and the Bar was full of the wedding guests. We eventually escaped the wedding guests when we went to the roof lounge but there were no facilities there for getting a drink. So if you wanted a drink, you had to go to the Bar and then take the lift to the roof lounge. We were also told that the restaurant was not available for dinner until 9pm. However, when we went to the restaurant at 9pm there were a number of free tables which suggests that we could have gone for dinner earlier. At breakfast, we sat at a table for 2 which was small as we could hardly fit our breakfast on it. The waitress did not come round and top up the coffee until asked. I did not think that the Hotel was good value for money.
