Strand Palace Hotel

Va saltar l'alarma d'incendis 2 nits seguides obligant a evacuar a tots els clients a les 23 h i el següent dia a les 01 h.sense explicacions. El darrer dia quan vam demanar què havia passat van dir que una persona havia fumat en una habitació i el detector de fums havia saltat. L'hotel té prop de 800 habitacions i va ser una experiència molt desagradable. Habitacions petites i molt caloroses tot i ser Londres. Solament un ventilador ja que no tenen aire condicionat

Nice Hotel which meet all the basic needs. Clean and proper. Not luxuriant.

Reception desk was overcrowded. More staff or splitting different tasks is needed.

Ease of access to local area

The room was very comfortable and clean, perfect size for two to share. The staff were extreamly helpful and plesent. I would certainly go back again.

The bathroom needed a little work done to it. A few cracked and odd tiles. However, this did not effect the enjoyable stay.

Great location, quiet room

Room was small with too much furniture - felt outdated compared to the public areas

The Hotel is very expensive. Rooms are very very small.

Location and room

Room difficult to find asked 2 chambermaids but they cound not speak English, when I eventually found room, my electronic key would not work and had to go back down to reception.Carvery lunch was not very hot.

Location. Powerful shower.

Old room. Toilet seat so old it was beyond cleaning. Mattress worn out, sinking in the middle. Paper thin walls, you can hear conversations next door. Slamming doors. The photos on the web do not correspond to most of the rooms.

The location to many sightseeing areas is perfect. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The room, though not large, is very comfortable. As a single woman traveling alone I appreciate the sense of security. Lovely employees, all truly helpful, cheery and obliging. And I have already recommended this hotel to friends. It was my second time staying there and will not be my last I am sure.

Not a great view from the window in the room, but not a big concern as not too much time spent looking out from there.

Location of hotel was excellent.

Hotel room (623) needs to be refurbished. Too small, too hot, old fashioned. Website only shows pics of refurbished rooms which is deceptive! Would not stay in hotel in such a room again.
