The hotel is well located. 40 min walk from King's cross and 10 min from Trafalgar square. I had to wait for 15 min before registering due to insufficient personnel at the reception desk. The room was small which is understandable for London, but this was really really small. With a small window that was giving into the interior court and other rooms. There was also a loud airconditionner next to my window... On the second day in the late evening I had a leak inmy bathroom. I asked for a different room, but was informed that the hotel is fully booked... I do not recomend this hotel. |

It was close to the theatre that we were visiting that night. that was why we chose it. No air conditioning and it was very hot in London. Room was very basic. |

Very clean, helpful concierge services and a great location. A little warm but the fan helped. It was nice to have the TV internet but it was very cumbersome to use. The screen was too wide, the resolution was low and the mouse buttons were very awkward which made it difficult to accomplish anything in a reasonable time frame. |

Efficient, good atsmophere, helpful staff; it all added up to a pleasant stay and the location was perfect - central to theatre-land and the sights we wanted to visit. The chepaer 'contental' breakfast was uninspiring and di not seem good value for money. |

What was there to like? It provided very basic amenities for quite a lot of money. It was very impersonal and had little to offer outside very basic accommodation. They charge extra for everything - breakfast, the internet - and our room didn't get cleaned until very late in the day. Its a big hotel and gets very crowded but the number of staff and common facilities appears inadequate to deal with the numbers staying. For example, checking in takes ages because of the queues and as for breakfast, well, we just gave up. |

Location is the key, very nice street with so many landmarks within walking distance within all directions.Rooms are clean and well maintained without being flash. Needed a power plug converter from UK to Australian and thought a hotel of this size could have had 1 in stock to loan me. |

Smilimg staff & a nice clean, quiet, comfortable room with a tea tray & clean bathroom. The eternal "shower-in-the-bath" problem: It's no fun being wrapped up by a shower curtain! However, plenty of hot water etc. |

Although the room was small, it was very clean and everything was in excellent condition. Staff were efficient and helpful It was very hot - the room I had was on the inside so there was no breeze from outside. |

Its central location makes it ideal for visiting Londons sights, theatres, and museums. The lounge was useful for relaxing in the evenings when our feet were too tired to walk anyfurther. The hotel has just been upgraded unfortunately the window was painted shut, the room was stuffy and had paint fumes. there is not enough sound proofing between the rooms. We could hear conversations in the adjacent room. Also we were awoken by the guest in the next room plugging and unplugging an elctrical appliance and watching tv at 5am! |

The location was perfect for access to the shops and theatres. Rooms were so hot that it was hard to sleep. Asked for help to cool them down but was only offered another fan. There seemed to be a constant heated mirror in the bathroom. |

I had a newly refurbished room and the impression of a light, well designed room with spotless bathroom was particularly welcome in a large lower cost establishment The breakfast was very much traditional English with a very limited choice for those who do not want a lot of cooked food. |

The Location was excellent- central location, walking distance to West End Theatres and Restaurants. Convenient to Tube for Historical Sites. Hotel Foyer and Bars were bright an cheerful. Reception staff were pleasant. Some roadworks outside when we arrived but the double window glazing meant we were not affected by the noise. All in all a very pleasant experience There was one patch of something wet and dirty on the carpet in the room - needs attention. Also one life was out of order which meant long delays in getting up and down stairs. Also other family members stayed in a standard room on the 7th Floor which was not as bright and airy as our Club Room on the 5th. This was a Twin Room and was pokey and outdated. |

Reception staff were very businesslike and helpful. The wooden shutters in the bedroom provided an effective blackout, unlike many hotels. The "continental" breakfast experience in the "soup" bar was not relaxing in any way. |

Breakfast was nice but expensive, if it cost £10 i would feel I was getting a good price The room was too hot, had to have a fan on for ages and then with the window open there was a buzz from a genarator or something. The lifts were also very slow. |
