Our room was spacious and very clean. The location was excellent, only 2 minutes walk to Covent Garden market and central to the city centre. Very friendly staff. We felt the breakfast was over priced so did not eat there. |

Excellent location and pleasant hotel with good facilities. Good double room rate excluding breakfast. Room rate excluded breakfast which was ridiculously expensive for two (£30) and of only average quality. Plenty of cafes/restaurants within yards of the hotel which do a much better breakfast deal |

I was impressed with the whole experience, right down to the domestic staff greeting me in a friendly way as i passed them in the corridor. Everything worked, the bed was comfortable, i had control of the heating level, the food was good, reception and concierge staff were helpful . . . . |

It is a high quality hotel, in a very central location everything I wanted to visit was within walking distance: Soho/Old Compton Street bars and clubs, Covent Garden, the Royal Festival Hall and Westminster Abbey. I particularly enjoyed the Strand Carvery Restaurant in the Hotel, this is a beautiful restaurant which allow the speed of being served at the carvery, ideal for me when I was going to a concert on Saturday evening at 7.30 pm. I had a room that faced into the central courtyard and there was a quiet buzz from the air conditioning units. It would also have been nice to have had curtains in the room as a soft furnishing, even though the wooden shutters gave excellent black-out. |

Convienient, comfortable, clean, staff were obliging, polite, and made the stay memorable. It was located so centrally and made our stay a very happy one. There were often qeues at the three lifts. With 8 floors, and lots of people not able to use the stairs or moving luggage this made for delays. |

the hotel is very well located, quite close to Covent Garden; the room was quite simple, but clean; overall my stay was nice and I would stay there again the room was a bit noisy, due to some hotel machines placed outside the window; no mini-bar available in the room; at check-in an appropriate explanation was not provided as regards the authorization of my credt card for possible extra expenses (an amount is provisionally debited on the card, and it is not automatically cleared after payment/check-out) |

The most advantage is very convinient location. I was in the hotel in october, and there is a lot of people in it. Due to this fact there was a big queue on breakfast. Also very thin walls between rooms: you can everything what's happened in the closer room. |

Location is excellent for Central London visits. The room was clean and modernised and I had an excellent shower. Being charged for Breakfast in advance.Poor quality of English Cooked Breakfast, too many guest bedrooms for the facilities now available (elevators inadequate, dining areas offering too wider choices leaving dining spaces too small) TV in room very expensive, no 'free' TV. |

We felt safe at night. We had a very quiet room and the beds were good. We also appreciated good food from roomservice late at night after theatre. One of the bed-lamps was broken and only worked now and then. |

Reception staff were efficient and friendly, as well as well presented. Keep that up! It's key to keeping customers. Fridge leaks on desk, bedding is poor quality (esp. blankets). Difficult to control temperature (stuffy room despite no heating on). |

Location relative to theaters and central London attractions. The price difference from alternates was offset by convenience and no cab costs. |

It is an affordable, quality hotel which lies but a short walk from Charing Cross station and is ideally located for theatre entertainment in the heart of London's West End. There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel. In fact I have already recommended it my friends who are also planning their theatre visit. |

I've stayed here several times before, and it has always been convenient. This was the first time with my 6 month old baby daughter - the cot was set up in the room prior to our arrival, the cot sheet was changed (once dirtied) and spare blankets, towels and tissues provided without asking. Very helpful! For some reason, it remains very hot in the bedrooms, even with the window open all night. Air conditioning would really help. There was a fan provided, but it's not ideal, and this was in October! |
