Score from 1923 reviews Very good
Our double standard room was considerably smaller than the couple we were travelling with.
perfectly situated for Covent Garden, the Embankment. quick and efficient check in and out. Helpful door man.
Our room overlooked a noisy service area. Not much else
Hotel's locations was great
Breakfast queues a thing of past.well managed.
Great location, hotel good value, helpful staff, all worked well.
The bar staff were brilliant, particularly one woman, who made amazing cocktails and was very friendly.
staff on reception weren't helpful or that friendly. They offered us an upgrade to a king size from a double, but when we arrived it was 2 singles, when we asked for another room they said they would just push the beds together for us, when we arrived 4hrs later, they were still singles. Not apologetic at all either.
close to charing cross station and to theatres
Location was perfect we were eating at Simpson just the other side of the road ,the only down side to our room was the noise from the heating system and a leak in the bathroom .Breakfast was very good and fast service to .
Nothing just as said above it would of been nice to have got some sleep would come again tho
the location is good
The executive single room was smaller than I thought it would be. The heating system (which I had turned off) was making a loud droning sound on the second night of my stay which made it very difficult to sleep. Turning the radiator on covered up the droning noise with a hissing sound which was a bit better, but then the room was too hot!
Central and in short walking distance of lots of landmarks. Staff friendly and efficient. Happy atmosphere. Ease of access.
Bath slightly rusty. Bit noisy in the room.
room view over strand
lift out of action again
Breakfast poor quality and cold
Excellent staff, and very good breakfast buffé.
We found a cockroach in the bathroom one of the days, that was quite unpleasant. The dinner buffé was not that exciting.
Lovely hotel ,close to all attractions and good transport links.Value for money.
young inexperienced resturant staff a bit unsure of how to serve wine.
The location is fantastic as I am a theatre lover. A real treat. Breakfast is delicious and staff is very friendly. A very convenient bus stop is near and the double deckers will take you just about anywhere.
Value for money in a West End location.
Stayed here many times over the years and have never yet been allocated a room which meets with our preferred options. I have no problems with the staff, location or overall experience but what's the point of asking for preferences on the booking request if no-one reads them? allocated
Location, comfort, lovely breakfast
The possibility to use Internet and print
The room. It is not a four stars hotel, The forniture is poor, the Windows are horrible, the courtyard is very dirty. .
Everything else but the bed
The bed was totally unacceptable
With bus stops outside and Covent Garden at the back door, yo couldn't wish for a better location.
Quiet room on the inside had very poor wifi reception.
Enjoyed superior king bed booking which had added benefite, free phone calls to mobile & landlines. Chose from menu for breakfast instead of going into the buffet breakfast room. Was able to leave luggage on check out day to look around london. Checked inearly 10.30am instead 2pm due to room being ready. Great service throughout stay.
The only thing that wasn't so good , we had a bad view from our bedroom window! We looked out on a dirty roof and built up area of other windows which all looked very dirty! Not a nice outlook at all. Stayed in room 374
Location as staff
Called an executive room yet small
The room with its adjustable heating and excellent shower
