Great location for the rsc and restaurants/pubs etc - friendly helpful staff. Executive room was well appointed , good breakfast which we were happy to pay extra for above the excellent advance room rate ( used it 3 days out of 4). The extras we ordered in advance were spot on as requested. Overall very good value for a short break in a lovely town. We were disappointed to have to endure a corporate "disco" pounding away on 2 out of our 4 nights (especially as I had requested a quiet room !) Just bad luck I suppose....but might be wise to check in future - as we booked so far in advance probably wouldn't have been scheduled then anyway. Some public rooms are ok but in need of an update.

Staff very welcoming; check-in quick & efficient; room clean. Well- equipped and comfortable; facilities very good (but no time on this visit to make the most of them .. pool, gym, restaurants etc). Location is superb .. 2 mins to a huge choice of restaurants and three minutes to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Five minutes stroll takes you right into the centre of Stratford. Picked off the internet .. couldn't have been happier !! .. Think £15 a head is a bit steep for breakfast .. continental or English .. we managed with a splendid hot croissant over the road @ £1.95 each plus a pot of tea £2.00

The location was perfect, as we had tickets to the rsc. The hotel service was good, well serviced comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very good and room service excellent. The old tv with no digital channels was archaic and the internet service was expensive and unreliable.

Location only a short walk from the Theatre - the reason for our trip to Stratford. Noise of bathroom fan - sounds like a jet-engine, one could hear it with the bathroom door closed. No obvious means of turning it off. We were on the second floor but could hear thudding music from an event going on downstairs until late Saturday evening. Bedroom lighting not well designed for sitting in the easy chairs and reading.

Very good service in hotel, clean room, all round very pleasant. Great Breakfast and beautiful riverside location. Sadly the only thing that let the holiday inn down was the lack of customer service in the gym and pool area, the man on the counter was watching the manchester united video and when I asked him a question he just blanked me and continued to watch the match. I'm sure thats not what he's paid to do.

Set in a beautiful location. The food was excellent, just like being on a cruise ship! The staff were so friendly, polite and professional. We felt very comfortable and welcome. We visit Stratford about 3 or 4 times per year. First time in this hotel, but certainly wont be the last. This is by far the best hotel for us in Stratford. We have many complaints about other hotels, hence the change of loyalty. Looking forward to our return.

Most enjoyable stay. Room clean, comfortable bed, just a little tired and dated could may be do with a face lift, but good as far as accommodation in general is concerned. Breakfast very good, good selection of everything from cereals to hot foods. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that. Hotel in good location to see most sites. Overall a nice stay, would definitely return.

The best part of the hotel was th location which was within 50 metres of the town centre. The breakfast was also very good with a good range of items hot and cold and a relaxed atmosphere in the dining room. Ther was the added value of a pool, gym and sauna available. The only drawback I felt was the usual over priced beverages in the lounge and restaurant. However this seems to be a general trait for most hotels, however the proximity of the town centre gave us loads of alternative choices.

Nothing apart from location to city center. This place is horrible- for 80 pounds per night its way too overpriced and our room was so gross! The breakfast was hideous- you would get better at mcdonalds!

Location and car parking allows you to walk in to the town. The bedrooms were large and clean. Very good bed. Sauna and steam room were very good and kept clean by the spa staff who were very friendly. Having to walk round the dinning room to get to the spa. In the spa you are asked to shower before entering the pool, there is only a cold shower available (asking a lot!) The bar shutters came down at 11.30 and was closed unless you went to reception
