Holiday Inn Stratford-Upon-Avon  

Great location for the rsc and restaurants/pubs etc - friendly helpful staff. Executive room was well appointed , good breakfast which we were happy to pay extra for above the excellent advance room rate ( used it 3 days out of 4). The extras we ordered in advance were spot on as requested. Overall very good value for a short break in a lovely town.

We were disappointed to have to endure a corporate "disco" pounding away on 2 out of our 4 nights (especially as I had requested a quiet room !) Just bad luck I suppose....but might be wise to check in future - as we booked so far in advance probably wouldn't have been scheduled then anyway. Some public rooms are ok but in need of an update.

Really liked hotel. Friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing.Really nice to have a pool. Went with another couple and had rooms next to each other.

It was central to Stratford

The Fact we was told we had to pay £5 to Park our car. The Window in our room was warped and took both of us to close it. And an hour later someone close by was trying to slam there window shut for a good half Hour until a member of staff came. The cost of Breakfast is to much .

The location of the Hotel was great. The room was larger than I expected and there were plenty of seating areas around the hotel. There was a good choice at breakfast and we could sit together as a family of seven without any problems.

We were disappointed with the size of the pool as when we went down to use it, it was already crowded so we didn't bother. Also a hotel of this quality should have flat-screen T.V.s in the rooms.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast. Friendly staff, we dealt with Dean who couldn't have been more excellent if he'd tried. Great location with parking. Heating actually worked.

Breakfast very expensive. Hotel charges guests to park. Spa closed on Sunday, the day we'd left free to use it.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is in a good location, overlooking the river. It is clean, warm and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

I was able to get a very good deal for 'room only' and thus it made Holiday Inn very attractive. To be situated in a 4 star hotel, right in the centre of town and have only paid a relatively budget price was too good to miss. We didn't bother buying breakfast in the hotel as it was rather pricey. It was comfortable and this was the second time I have stayed there.

I thought the decor, certainly in the room and bar were a bit 'tired' looking and a wee bit dated. Whilst the reception area is quite modern, it belies the rest of the building.

Always a bit irritating to have to pay extra for car parking. Duvet covers on the beds could do with being slightly wider: only just big enough across for two people to stay warm.

it was very clean and comfortable,also avery convenient to get to lots of places

when we were cheking out we were told we had to pay for room service which we hadnt had but was deleted by nice young chap that was dealing with us,also most annoying was being charged for parking have never stayed in a hotel where they have charged before.also we parked in disabled bays as i have a blue badge which should not have paid.

Great location and good facilities

I have always enjoyed my visits to the Holiday Inn, in Stratford-upon- Avon. I forgot my toothbrush, and as always I could phone reception, and ask for anything forgotten.

Not really something that I didn't like, but something that I missed. There are usually biscuits on the hospitality tray. This time they were missing, so I had to buy some, to take medication which required food.

A fantastic hotel. Amazing location, great rooms, friendly staff, awesome facilities and great value for money. Only seconds away from the rsc. Perfect!
