family room was really homely and modern
Lovely quiet Inn, comfortable, clean and well equipped room, plenty of parking. Lovely meal in bar in the evening and also excellent breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff
This was perfect for us although it is around a 20min drive to pitlochry and i suspect very difficult to get to without a car so may not be great for everyone
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. I was with two small children and they were made to feel so welcome! We stayed in a junior suit which was amazing value for money, plenty of space and very toasty!
I cannot fault this hotel.
No mirror in the bedroom to see how to style hair after a shower.
Very helpful staff, willing to please and very pleasant. Meals were good, tasty and filling. Considerate when I needed an early morning start.
Nothing obvious. Trivial dislikes or small things eg. no extractor fan in bathroom. Nothing to suggest I wont stay again.
Extremely welcoming and friendly staff, lovely clean rooms and excellent food? Top marks all around!!!
The food was really good and Abby & family were very friendly & cooperative.
friendly staff, good food and good location.
Personal, friendly atmosphere. Large and comfortable room. Good food
Would have like to have a phone in the room.
friendly service in check in and bar and is able to accomadate us with our 2 small dogs
2 lights were burnt out in our room and not replaced during our stay
Good location for overnight stay. Especially when touring Highland regions.
The inn is in need of upgrading throughout. Food was good although the breakfast was lacking in choice & presentation.
Large room Hotel restaurant/pub and garden Personnel very friendly and helpful
WIFI only at the public areas
We travel to the highlands of Scotland on a yearly basic, and this is our stop off point. Fantastic B+B, quality food, and rooms. Will be back next year.
Great family room.
Friendly staff . excellent Restaurant Very clean and quiet.
Food was delicious, plentiful and very well presented. The atmosphere was that of a real country Inn, with warmth and genuine care from the host's and staff. If you walk, fish, or shoot this is the place for you.
Bathroom needs a face lift.
Had a fantastic stay at The Strathardle Inn. The location was stunning, the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the room was beautifully furnished and clean. Loved every second and will be back very soon.
Owners and staff very friendly and accommodating. Food wonderful with clean, restful rooms.
Very spacious family room.
It would have been nice to stay in the house itself rather than the converted steading.
The home made shortbread in the room.
There was no shower gel, just soap and shampoo and conditioner.
We like the location, staff, restaurant. Extremely quiet in a beautiful spot along a trout stream or river and the food was very good and conveniently right at our inn. We had a very nice evening walk. The accommodations were not fancy but very adequate and pleasant. No trouble with parking.
The lady who served the breakfast was very nice, friendly and efficient. The front room we had was very pleasant with a lovely view. Mattresses could have done with more padding or renewing. Otherwise an enjoyable stay. Food good. ( I would prefer this review to go directly to the owners only so they could have a chance to rectify problems mentioned)
The welcome. We had to ring the bell the in the lobby three times before any body came to welcome/sign us in. We were already booked to stay. It was as if we became invisible! Other staff came in and out and ignored us standing there waiting. Eventually an older lady came out and spoke to us, saying she had been busy in the bar even though she heard the bell. Surely she could have delegated someone to check us in and not just leave us standing there for ages - not a good welcome.
The staff were friendly and the food was reasonable
The room required some upgrading
Loved the pub, food was excellent and we met some very nice people. Room was average but clean with a good shower and plenty of towels. The area was lovely and the drive to it and to Pitlochry was some of the most picturesque we had in Scotland.
It was the perfect spot. Quiet location, excellent well stocked bar, great dinner and breakfast, comfy rooms. The location was very pretty, un-spoilt by tourism and the hotel quaint, charming and very friendly. We would back there in a heartbeat.
