The Strathardle Inn is a beautiful little hotel set in glorious Perthshire landscape. Good home-cooked food sourced locally, fine ales and a roaring fire, what more could you want?

We stayed at the Strathardle Inn on the first leg of the Cateran Trail. Our hosts could not have been more helpful when we discovered our accommodation for the Sunday night had been cancelled. They offered to collect us from Kirton of Glenisla and return us to the same point the following morning to continue the rest of the trail. Very nice and helpful staff.

This was my third visit.Beautiful location,friendly owner and staff,great food and choice.No hesitation in giving it ten out of ten.Too bad there are few hotels in nearby Pitlochry that can match this one.

Very warm welcome from hosts. Good food offered in a relaxed atmosphere. We appreciated the comfortable lounge and the free wi-fi. Duvet a little too small.

La comida del restaurante muy bien. Las habitaciones no están mal pero no son las mejores que puedes encontrar. Está en el campo en plena naturaleza, y alguna araña nos encontramos en el baño (normal) pero encima de la cama había toda una tela de araña de un lado al otro... (esto creemos que es por falta de limpieza, cuidado y un poco de vista...) La tela de araña encima de la cama.

Fantastisch hotelletje in idyllische omgeving, buitengewoon lekkere keuken, gezellige pub/bar - niet de grote luxe, wel alle comfort, inclusief wapenkluis op de kamer ! ligt dan ook in prachtig jachtgebied...

Convenient for access to the Glenshee area and beyond as well as Pitlochry and further north. Extremely good menu choice with the option of dining in the restaurant or the bar. Excellent beer choice after a long day in the hills. Service is good. Recommended.

Accommodated in annexe which was ok and meant we could use camping stove in room for evening meal. Room was not as well prepared as it might have been but I will not elaborate as we had stayed in same room before and asked to stay there again. Lovely location.

“I usually book the chain hotels and go where the wife can get some retail therapy. I decided on a wee change as i thought my seven year old twins would love the countryside. We all loved the Hotel and will definetly being going back in the near future. We only stayed for the two days but wish i had booked more. The staff were realy friendly and very welcoming. The food was realy good aswell. We enjoyed our food so much the first night that we decided to eat again at the hotel on the second night.My kids want to go back this weekend. 10 /10” Craig, Dunfermline |
