Able to leave baggage before checking in and after checkout Absolutely impossible to get any sleep. Only one staff member at night who was unable to deal with a stag party causing massive disruption. Horrible experience, weekend spoilt.

We liked the strathdon last year when we stayed there.the staff are very friendly and helpful.the food is good, and the rooms are comfortable. The main thing I didnt like was the lack of parking at the hotel.i took a car down the first time, and found parking a bit of a problem.fraser at the hotel gave me a pass to park at the hotel, due to my mobility problems.i had already paid £20 for 2nts and 2days parking in talbot street car park, the only other thing is the price for a 3couse meal when the food is a bit repetative.

It was city central with excellent friendly staff. A little disappointed with parking facilities. £15 was rather expensive and not attached to hotel. We were also on the 6th floor, which did not have a working lift to take our luggage up

This hotel was great value for money and was in a convenient location. We traveled by train and were going to a gig at the arena. This hotel was in the perfect location, as it was a very short walk from the train station and to the arena! If you are going to a gig at the Nottingham arena, I would suggest staying here. The bed was very comfy, the staff were always friendly, and the bath in the ensuite was a definite bonus for the price! Although it was claimed that this hotel was recently refurbished, I am not sure that this was totally the case. The lift was small and very slow, the handle on the bath was very loose and there were chips in the enamel in the bath. The television remote was a bit dodgy, and we were in a room right next to what appeared to be a cleaning cupboard, so there was a bit of noise involved in that. The room was very warm most of the time, although the hotel staff kindly provided us with a fan. As the room was hot, we had to open the window and there was a lot of noise coming from the air conditioning unit on the next building. I must say though, that these are all minor things, and although it didn't really bother us, some people may be bothered by this, so it was worth mentioning.

Good location in city centre Very noisy, traffic sounds, sounds from the corridor, 2 parties on saturday night and I could hear the dj clearly in the basement room from the 4th floor; clearly the rooms are not well insulated against noise. It was just plain silly for the hotel to allow one of the parties to use a smoke machine that kept setting off the fire alarm.

Good location for the City Centre, and very good rates Parking is not the easiest, and didn't realise that discounts are only given at one car park but not the others.

A good hotel with a decent bar and staff overall My view from the room 213 was a wall and aircon ducting...no problem with that but it would be an idea to at least sweep the dirt and cigarette stubs off the ducting...not pleasant. The batch needs enamelling or replacing too.

Clean, quiet rooms, great position. Breakfast close at 10:30. That means you can stay in the room up till 10:30, but they stop serving the whole breakfast at 10:00.

Visiting Notingham for concert and for hospitla appointment for my wife at qmc. Reception staff most welcoming and exttremely helpful Bar staff also. The lift was being used by domestic forcing my wife and I to makee our way down to reception via the emergency stairs - not acceptable since my wife was due to visit qmc with a heart problem. Otherwise this inconvenience did not detract from the convenient situation of the hotel

Hotel is very handy for the city centre and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I was given a double room with shower and bath. A very comfortable stay. Although the full English breakfast was very good you are expected to know that it is self service from a not very obvious servery. Continental breakfast option didn't look so good.

Near to city centre, affordable although we have to pay 50% more for saturday night. Clean and comfortable beds.Hotel is a bit old but have one small lift (which is rare for budget hotels in uk). The best shower in my 15 days in uk. The lifts have to upgrade. That will be add a good point. Thank you!!
