Great Parking ! Central for Highland Walks. Easy to get to other 3 hotels for entertainment all yards away. Very peaceful.

Very quiet , No entertainment

Breakfast, surprisingly they fell short of food and did not have sufficient quantities. Cant imagine, how in the 21st century a good 3 star hotel could give such an excuse. Perhaps its a village at the end, and not a huge city.

Hotel a mixture of modern and old style, doesn't quite work. Bathroom not that clean, it had been a long time since pipes and skirtins had been given a clean!

We stayed at the Strathpeffer Hotel while working in the area. On arrival we received a warm welcome from reception. The hotel was clean and warm throughout, just what you need after working out in the cold. The breakfast was great and the hotel staff were bright and friendly. The room itself was clean and spacious with plenty of warm water. Our main reason for booking here was that the hotel is pet friendly and we could take our two dogs, which was never a problem. There is also a lift in the hotel which you don't find that often and a handy, well stocked shop just round the corner from the hotel. Location is excellent,and the hotel easy is to find with ample parking. Would gladly visit this hotel again.... Thankyou

The room was lovely, however very disappointed that breakfast was unavailable and no reduction in price. We were handed two plastic packets of sandwiches for us to eat before running a marathon. Nothing to drink and absolutely no love nor care put into this. We only needed to be away by 7am.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly or accomodating. The room was adequate and well kept. Breakfast was more than enough with both a cooked and cereals provided.

Very friendly staff & owner made sure that we were catered for in a very busy hotel. Other guests also seemed to be contented with the hotel.

Shower in the bathroom was a little small, if I was a bigger person it could have been dificult. Cleanliness was not an issue within the room but the windows could have been done with a clean.

Nice and clean hotel with good food.

Hotel is very clean but a little tired looking, rather old fashioned and absolutely full of elderly coach parties. Nothing to do if you're under 50.

Overpriced, smelly room, uncomfortable bed, disgusting poor quality breakfast.

On arrival at 4pm the lift was full of dirty washing.the bed in the room was so bad,that we had to move room the next day,On the first night we were kept awake until 3am with so much noise from the room next door,which were from a Wedding party for he weekend,why they could not have put all that party together in one area,instead of keeping other people awake all night,I don't know.We made friends with a Swiedish couple,who was a tour guide,they had to be moved three times to find a clean and less noisy room,iIn the front sunroom we had two broken glasses which remnants of broken glass were still there the next morning,My husband and myself do not think that for the fee of 70 pounds is not very good value at all,I feel the place was very run down and needs major repairs done around the hotel

the room floor was off level by about four inches the breakfast was not very good some of the staff looked half asleep when you asked for breakfast some people had to wait a long time

I liked the fact that it was close to the Pavillion where the wedding we attended was held. I also was impressed with Doug who had a difficult job dealing with many complaints but remained professional and did his utmost to ensure all our needs were met. Thanks Doug

I did not like the fact that we had to pay a £10 supplement to get into the rooms early plus we paid more for our rooms than some people who had just booked the night before, we had booked earlier. We couldn't open the windows in our rooms either and it was really stuffy. The toilet didn't have any ventilation at all! Highly irregular. Also no complementary shampoo etc. I also didn't like the attitude of the person who served our breakfast as we had to constantly ask for.... Toast, tea, coffee etc and were treated to scowls as if we were asking for extra stuff when we hadn't had any of these things to begin with. All in all a bit of a disappointment to say the least.

Staff were very efficient in an extremely busy hotel. The hotel caters for the tourist industry and is well suited to this. The food was simple but very good with ample portions. As a single traveller I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff.

The single room was a little spacious but like a DIY project that had gone wrong. Just a few more repairs would have made it a little more acceptable but I was only staying one night.

Public bar was noisy, best to stay in the hotel lounge bar for a drink.

Hotel quite basic, but staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and a very good breakfast, cooked to order. Had one evening meal during my stay and was very good value for the price.

Very dated. Old and shabby. Insufficient hot water in the bathroom. Poor menu. Bar very noisy.

Our only real gripe is there was no proper shower just an old type tap shower with no wall mount so to wash hair was akward for the wife no prob for me though no hair!.
