Park across street was meeting place of large amount of young inebriated people. Shooting and arguing till 3:00 AM makingbforva very poor nights sleep
Spacious family room Pleasant staff
Easy to get into town. B&b adequate
Front bedroom very noisy from road. Only stayed one night instead of three.
Fruit for breakfast was tinned
Location, cleanliness, beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was decidedly average.
Staff was very understanding of our very late arrival. Great location and comfortable family room.
Nothing. No lift made for a bit of effort, but it's a b and b so none should be expected.
Owner was a bit grumpy
Friendly atmosphere. Good food. Excellent location within walking distance of theatre.
friendliness,good value for money
very nice accommodation, with an excellent breakfast. Very nice clean and tidy rooms
Great welcome, convenient yet peaceful location, lovely clean room and thick, appealing towels in the en suite. Free parking and a great breakfast the next morning, everything delicious and exactly how we liked it, I recommend this place highly and intend to stay again!
it was very clean and comfy
I arrived at 10pm and found a notice on the door stating that check in is from 2-6pm. I tried calling the contact number provided, several times, but always on answer phone. No answer to the doorbell. After about 40minutes of ringing, knocking, calling etc, one of the guests opened the door and informed me that the owner had 'gone out for the evening since 7pm!' The owner did not bother to give me a ring (yes, my number was provided with the booking), although she lied through her teeth saying she called me twice and left a message (my phone was working). The owner arrived back at 11pm and was abrupt and cold with me, simply showed me to my room, saying that the check in time was on the email received from the booking. She said that she had stayed up waiting for someone till 11.30pm the previous night, who did not turn up, so she was not bothering to wait for me.... The following morning breakfast was decent (despite some dry toasted bread), but the owner was very welcoming and chatty with other guests, but did not interact with me at all, just served me in a cold manner. Once I finished she did ask if I wanted anything else, so that was decent of her. She also provided me with a map and directions upon check out to enable me to arrive at my destination. This is the first time I'm writing negative comments, and I feel bad, but I'm just stating facts and how I was made to feel. But being left out in the cold, after working a long busy day and then travelling for 3hrs, it not my idea of getting a good nights rest!
A mostly pleasant place to stay. Warm greeting and helpfulness. Easy reach of RSC.
Predominance of black in the bedroom - black feature wall and wall of alcove, black wardrobe, bedside table and dressing table with black accessories and black chair. Bedcover with wide back border and black cushions. Oh, grey curtains. For a room with not a lot of natural light it sapped energy.
Excellent location, within walking distance of the best of Stratford's attractions. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Excellent tasty breakfast. Very close to town centre but still reasonably quiet location despite road. Parking facility is very handy and a footpath to Anne Hathaway's cottage runs nearby. Beautiful walk. Landlady is very pleasant so we enjoyed our stop-over.
It took a little while to locate the address but we simply off loaded our bags before parking properly to the rear. This was absolutely no problem once we got ourselves sorted out.
good location few minutes walk to the centre of town. Good breakfast and off street parking - excellent
Everything.close to everything, friendly, lovely breakfast.
Nice house, great location.
Room was a bit smelly when I walked in.
The room was decorated nicely, was clean, had comfy beds & tea & coffee making facilities. Very friendly & welcoming owners
Everything from greeting to decor
The location was good amd the fact that we were able to park was useful. The rooms were comfortable.
The coffee and juice at breakfast were horrible-instant coffee and watered down juice.
clean, serviced room central warm bathroom en suite parking very helpful staff
no soundproofing - neighbours kept me awake at night!
Walking distance to all places of interest and cafes/taverns. The Fir garden across...would be so good for family with children. The breakfast room is set in Fine-dining style. Comfort room and proprietors are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
