Room was really dirty and barroom wasn't cleaned
location, price, freindly staff.
probably view might attract some but nothing for me really.
Atleast basics should be provided for example toilet tank was not working to flush, wash basin was too tiny to wash face, water splashed everywhere while washing, kettle was dirty and more not the less room was bitterly cold through out night.
Friendliness of staff and very helpful.
Wifi didnt work in room. cleaniness not good, rooms need updating
Inadequate bathroom and heating
Staff - were friendly and helpful Bed - was clean and comfortable
It was very run down, my toilet was disgusting with the whole seat nearly dropping off hinges, toilet brush filthy, sink too small with metal basket in way so floor was wet through, stained carpets, shower dirty. Online pictures taken at least 20 years ago!!
Staff needs a little more training in customer service. Rather loud than discreet. Management questions genuine reasons of complaints however they do strive to deal with swiftly. Bed comfortable, breakfast could be improved. However enjoyable but basic.
Wires hanging and exposed through ceilings and visibly exposed. Very dirty windows on upper floors. Sea view rooms not worth price if you cannot see out the windows. Ceiling tiles missing and exposing cavities in the restaurant. Carpets in many places dirty and in drastic need of washes. Many bulbs not replaced, cleaning of rooms a disgrace when bath was left in state of previous customers usage. Restaurant tables at front windows for sea front view not allowed to be used for unknown reason. This being upsetting when all other hotels allow the usage of all areas. Attitude of management needs further training with respect to dealing with customer complaints efficiently and effectively without being questioned. Just because the previous customer did not complain could possibly be because they created the issue. Very immature when handling room damaged complaints.
\james was an excellent host - he went out of his way to give us a great room and we enjoyed extra heating. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE!
THE BLACKPOOL COLD/ WINDY SNAP ! nothing to do with the hotel.

Lopsided bed tiny toilet with mold on shower head n smell of gas
I have just got back from another stay at this hotel with my 11 year old son. It is in an excellent location for everything. The manager is extremely helpful going out of his way to make sure you have a fantastic stay. It is not the first time we have stayed and it certainly won't be the last. The Stretton will always be my first choice for trips to Blackpool. The Indian restaurant in the hotel is also very good and worth a visit.
Nothing - my only slight criticism is that it could be updated in parts.
Nothing at all
Everything filthy room no signal on tele spring sticking out of mattress very dangerous wouldn't stay there again if they paid me
Comfortable bed Nice breakfast Ideal locality for our night out
Staff did their job. Nothing more, nothing less. No smiles, no asking if breakfast ok, Not around for checkout
The hotel was dirty, it smelt, an just generally wasn't nice, there was bangs an noises all evening, it was that bad that my partner an I actually left at 2 in the morning, it was disgraceful, and the staff were useless
Staff were very helpful. On the promenade, 2 minute walk away from the centre. Excellent for the value of money.
Lack of sockets in bedroom.
