Stretton Hotel

The room had a sea view and it was possible to park off the road although there was a large threatening sign about clamping unless permit from hotel shown. Hotel told us we did not need permit

We had been told when we booked that my wif'e's mother's room would be close to us. Important as she is 94. We were also told she would have a walk in shower. The room was a long walk away and she had no shower. At breakfast the next morning there was no table for the 3 of us and when we were found a table the waitress told us delays in getting served were 'because we had asked for a new table'. The hotel obviously caters for coach parties and we were treated as second class citizens. An admission of over booking was made but when I asked if we would have the same problems with breakfast as with our rooms I was told not to worry as everything would be taken care of-I had been right to worry!

I liked the single room it was clean comfy and a good sea view, .

I didnt like the breakfast it was very poor quality and I would have liked to have sat where I liked it was to regimental all sat in a group I felt very uncomfortable.

A dated but comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Rate throug this site much better than hotel advertised rack rate. Easy walking distance to most attractions. Excellent full breakfast included in cost but 0830-0930 breakfast times meant a late start for us.

Very limited 6 spaces?) and narrow parking to rear of hotel

This is a budget hotel,which is conveniently located close to the Tower,City centre and the North Pier.

The hotel was clean and in a good location, just 5 minutes walk from the tower. The staff were all friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated, just a little on the small side!

Reception staff were professionaland always available. At night, available to let us in and nice friendly service for a final drink at the bar.

Rooms could maybe do with a bit of modernising to make them extra nice. Perhaps new modern bed linnen and a lick of paint, but overall room a lot better than at other hotels/B&B's in Blackpool.

The hotel lobby, the dining room and bar all smelt of sewage, very disgusting smell, had this smell been in my room as well I would have demanded a refund. It put us all off breakfast which was below average anyway, we ate out after trying it once.

the hotel very close to the amenities of blackpool. the room was small but clean and breakfast was fab.

The receptionist was really friendly and tried her best to accomodate us. The hotel is a at great location to all the sandy beach and clubs.

I think the hotel needs a refurbishment, it is very dated and could do with a lick of paint.

Location is ideal as close to town centre. Breakfast was also very decent.

The bathroom facilities were small & cramped. Shower was weak

we were lucky to enjoy good weather. hotel on seafront and close to city center and north pier.
