The decoration and the layout of accomodation and other areas is very tasteful and gives a luxurious and relaxing feel to your stay. Staff were very friendly. We arrived at about 8.30pm, and this was no problem for them. We were very pleased with our family room and felt we had all the comforts of home. My only minor dislike was when I was in the shower, the water temperature kept fluctuating from just right, to scalding!! |

Very nice hotel, lovely size room for 2 adults and 2 small children. Comfortable and roomy, a good night's sleep followed by a very pleasant breakfast. A little bit away from the main roads, but to some people that may be a good thing. For us it meant a drive fairly late at night in the pouring rain, but fortunately Sat Nav did us proud. |

Staff were welcoming and friendly and even prepared to server breakfast and hour earlier than usual as I had to be out early on Sunday morning. One of the best evening meals I have had in recent years. As a first time lone traveller I was quite comfortable sitting on my own in the restaurant eating and reading my book. Excellent. I will definitely stay their again. |

The bathroom was recently renovated and all facilities worked. We traveled with 3 persons and the booked family room was huge. Digital tv was available. We would have appreciated if there was a continental breakfast, which was not the case. The hotel is classified as a 4 star hotel, but I would think that it's more like a 3 star. Nevertheless it suited our needs. |

Very pleasant atmosphere Because the weather was bad we wished to stay at the hotel and have lunch on the Saturday lunchtime. Unfortunately, unlike a lot of other local pubs, they were closed. We therefore went somewhere else for lunch but I had to drive and couldn't have a drink. |
