Food was good. Good atmosphere in the bar. Service was prompt
Lack of controllable heating in the room. A kitchen with no cutlery or crockery was not helpful to us.
Polite friendly staff clean tidy rooms would definetaly stay again .
the food was exellent
Great location for hillwalking, and superb view of the Grey Corries. Very couthy staff. Nice bar area with good food and beer. Plenty off room for parking and room was clean and comfortable.
Having to go home!
Beautiful location, helpful staff, very comfortable room in a pretty Highland village
easy access to fort william warm welcome pleasant staff
The people who owned the place were very nice. Nice and relaxing night.
The hotel was clean, and the garden was pretty
No wifi in common areas, poor wifi in room kept dropping out. Food was pretty disappointing especially as there are no other eating places nearby, no love put into cooking or presentation of meals.
Location, ease of access and facilities. Evening menu and breakfast choice
Slightly noisy room near main entrance, but then we only stayed one night.
Close proximity to Commando Memorial site. Owner was very engaging and interesting. Real Ales kept well with good honest food served.
all staff and owners really nice, friendly owner will tell you what the gaelic place names mean if you ask ,will be back for sure next year. location perfect.
availability of meals late in the evening (10pm).
The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable.
Apparent issues between the hotel and bookings.com, resulting in my room being double booked.

The customer service was ridiculous. Staff, one in particular was exceptionally ignorant. Breakfast was rubbish; orders were wrong and it was served cold. We had no hot water during our two night stay. We asked staff to address this for us on each day - it was not fixed nor even checked, nor were we offered the option to use an alternative shower. When we asked for a discount in view of this we were ridiculed and spoken to in a very derogatory way. A bag of rubbish was also left on our bed by staff.
First impressions were very good, reception was very friendly and helpfull. Over all a very clean, well presented and friendly hotel.
There was nothing that I did not like.
The staff was friendly, the location was convenient for climbing in the surrounding area, and the inn had a drying room available.
We stayed at the back in the annex, and the soundproofing there wasn't great, which would have made sleeping a bit difficult, if we hadn't been so tired every night.
The room was a good size, very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!
No real criticisms except the wifi was not great.
All the facilities, staff and food was wonderful, a very comfortable environment
There was nothing that I didn't like
Friendly staff, good food, relaxed atmosphere. It was great having kitchenette area available in the studio flat for making sandwiches, etc and being able to wash out flasks properly. Lovely gardens too. Great bar for meeting up with friends.
Nothing to dislike!
hotel was clean, friendly staff, staff gave us hints for places to visit everything was excellent except breakfast as there was no variety every day eggs
A friendly welcome from all staff. Staff very informative on local area and advice on walking routes.Lovely room and excellent beer.
Staff were very warm and friendly. Bathrooms were recently updated,
Quite expensive for what it was. Our room faced the road, but we didn't find it as noisy as some other reviewers. Room, decor etc felt very dated. Breakfast could have done with some fresh fruit/yoghurt etc. For the price, we were expecting higher quality ingredients.
Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and well decorated. Location excellent.
