Large clean room, very comfortable bed, gentle waitress. Free parking. Two sofas in to the room. (Why?)
The position is not amazing.Despite the room was warm, the bathroom was totally cold. No regular windows in the room nor in the bathroom, just old type ones as in a cellar, no insulation from outside temperature (cold) and from noisy. No lamp beside the bed. No care in the detail, everything hung at the wall was badly fastened: the soap-tray, the stand for the paper, the towel-stand, the shower-stand...everything was "sliding down". The bathromm is large and new but need definitively to be repaired.
When I arrived they asked to pay full amount on arrival, without warning that airconditioner is not working (winter season!!!), the bed had thin summer blanket, first night I spent with clothes on and 2 pairs of socks, the second night I asked for an extra blanket, they said they called the tecnition of airconditioner. But the problem was not sold. Thanks God I had 2 blankets. The window was broken (the glass), the curtains very dirty... In the bathroom the shower not in conditions, water skipping to all sides. And I payed 120€/ night without breakfast!!! Nightmare...
It was apaulingi made a complaint about the extremly loud music that was paying. I had a 10 month old baby who was screaming his head off it was so loud. On arrival no one bothered to mentionto us that they were going to be having a party and that the music would be so loud. Our room was right above the bar area where the music was being played. When I went down stairs the man that was there did nothing to help me or suggest moving is to another room so not to be right on top of the bar. The room was extremly cold as well. On check out my partner said he wanted to talk to th manager but the receptionist said he was not in till 10 am and that she would get the manager to call us as soon as he got in. We heard nothing that day so sent them an email, asking why no one has bothered calling us. 3 days later and we still have not been contacted. The whole stay was awful and I want a full refund, if the manager ever bothers to get in touch and apologise for the terrible stay. I think it's discraceful how no member cared about our feelings or tried to sort anything out! I shall never be returning there and feel sorry for anyone that does. And as I mentioned before I would like some sort of compensation. If we didn't have a baby we would of left that night and slept in the car which probably would of been more comforting for us.
when we arrived the room was absolutely freezing. We tried to set the temperature in the room, but this had to be set from the reception. It took ages until we felt some warm, and was never enough. The windows were so thin that we could hear everything from outside, even though the room was facing a quiet street.
Staff were rude.. during check in the reception guy asked for money more than what showed in Booking.com to be payed in advance, i refused that and ask for reasons or i will call booking.com, he then realised and said sorry i read the number by mistake because i had a problem in my eyes!!! No heating system, only AC and it doesn't work properly and you have to call the reception every time you want the AC switch on/off as it's centralized control. You can imagine trying to sleep and at the oddest hour, someone from the reception switch off the heater (AC)!! furniture is dirty and fatigued. Would never come back :(
Nothing felt like sleeping in the car
dirty throughout from reception to the room. bathroom had broken fittings walls damaged and worn
Location, reception beautifully done. Very cheap but still not really worth the money for the faults
Filthy carpet in bedroom Windows fixed completely shut unable to open also no air con working. Not all plug sockets worked. Room service menu in room but unavailable and not told times it was available. Was told I was not allowed breakfast as room service. Staff unable to understand English very well
Hotel was amazing first impression really looks like a top hotel
Cold rooms noisy single glaze windows so could hear every tiny sound outside and let cold air in. Rooms were stained. Looked like owners spent budget on first impressions not comfort
stayed two nights great welcome on arrival .clean spacious recption
Quite expensive £75 a night no breakfast
Abrupt staff, not helpful
the bed was ok
bedroom very poorly decorated walls dirty smell from bathroom crack in window poor ventilation unable to draw curtains fully over priced breakfast poor as was the bar facilities would definitely not recommend this hotel
No double glazing failed to sleep because of traffic
Spacious room & bathroom, fairly close to Luton airport. Staff was helpful.
Our hotel room was a pretty distant relative to the website photos in terms of freshness & ambience.
no parking - despite claiming "free parking" pain peeling off walls, stains everywhere (including what I hope was a coffee stain on the bed sheet). More hostel than hotel!
Friendly staff, reasonably convenient location for getting to the airport - taxi 10 - 12 quid
Pretty shabby condition of the room - stained carpet, marks on the walls, windows don't shut properly, curtain only just hanging...
Stains everywhere, dirty linnen, smelly hallways, ignorant staff overcharging you, terrible parking, inferior food, pump beer like soda water, noise all night, aircon stuck on cold, no tv remote so no tv, kettle broke and shower dripping all night, no handle on toilet door, STAY AWAY
The receptionist was excellent, I would be happy to give her a job in my business, Top Marks to her!!!!
I didn't stay, room 120 was beside a external ventilation system cumming from a kitchen, the smell was extremely bad in the room. The hotel was fully booked and they did not have an alternative room. An excellent receptionist dealt with my complaint very well, t but she did not have an alternative room. The bar and restaurant area looked modern and clean. The other areas could do with a freshen up and the corridor carpets a good clean. Don't know about the other rooms but would not stay in 120
The bedroom was very cosy and warm, everything worked perfectly. Was very clean and fresh. I will recommend my friends and family to stay at the Stuart. The workers were also very friendly, helpful and polite.
Room was comfortable & clean. Hot water all the time.
Noise, windows very poor. Got a phone call from reception by mistake at 5.30 a.m.??
Everything was good.
the room was too small.it was very hard to move even two people.there was no space to move as double room.
Had relaxing evening
Bins in room hadn't been emptied, hair in sink
very close Luton, 5 min by taxi , 10-15 min by public bus
they didn't find my booking
great location value for money friendly staff. can sometimes have noisy neighbours but staff will soon have a word!! rooms very comfortable but the ones on the main road suffer traffic noise but if you want a central location what do you expect. have stayed several times and will continue to do so.
nothing the staff would not sort out imediately
Close to Whipsnade zoo
Bed was very uncomfy. Walls and carpets very stained. Tv signal was extremely poor. Air con was difficult to control and the windows didn't open. Room was very dark and poorly lit.
The pillows were horrible which made sleeping difficult.i came out with bank and neck pain from the bed No fridge in the room.
