Very good,
Score from 100 reviews
“The staff describe themselves in the brochure as a hard-working and committed group working together to produce a good stay for their guests. This is 100% accurate and we experienced the results of that - a very pleasant stay. The room was well appointed, the food was good and there was a spirit of generosity not often found.”

Edgware

Comfortable and friendly. Not far from shops and quiet location. Parking facilities and good food. Excellent value for money. The shower could have had a little more power to it but never-the-less it was adequate.

Very welcoming and obliging; good food; comfortable and warm room; location ideal for Kings Lynn centre - either by foot or by car; every member of staff encountered was always cheerful and helpful. Car parking a little shambolic. Not a great lover of gravel drives and car parks - in the past have suffered too much damge from stone chips.

Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff, an excellent little hotel hidden away in Kings Lynn, breakfast great, evening meal very good and two real ales (well kept) available on draft. Ideal for visiting North Norfolk, Sandringham Cromes and so on. I and the family hope to return.

Continuous annoying knocking sounds from the walls till 10pm, then started again in the morning, mentioned to the reception at the check-out. Fruit salad for breakfast should have a notice that it contains grapefruit, as my wife takes a diabetic medcine which can not mix with grapefruit and nearly missed it. It's a very common medicen for diabetic and very dangerous if you don't know or you can see it. Staff was very pleasant and friendly.

Its quaintness. This hotel should not be used as a disco. We had to endure bass noise thumping though our pillows until 12 midnight. If I could have found a member of the staff at the time I would have said my piece. £96 a night, would allow you to think you would be able to get a night's sleep.I Have travelled the world and stayed in many hotels. The impression I got from your Hotel, was an expensive establishment run on a shoe string. Evident by the number of bells dotted around the place to gain staff's attention. The ceiling in the resturant looks tacky get it repaired properly. The food I am afraid wasn't up to the prices charged.Breakfast on the other hand was excellent,we actually saw staff, and felt like you were a guest. Not like you were at the Premier Inn. I am sorry to have to say the above, but you need to know.

“The most friendly, accomodating staff I have ever encountered, they made my stay a real pleasure. A refreshing change from the sterile 'corporate' hotels I have stopped in. The customer service was superb, the room comfortable and excellent value for money. Holtel chains could learn a lot from the young couple who run this hotel, as they truly understand the meaning of making guests feel welcome.” Steve, Birmingham |
