Staff - Sylvia - was fantastic and very helpful.
Although room was compact it was well laid out, warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything provided for washing up, including tea towel. Excellent location for Euston train connections. Would stay here again.
Stairs to lower ground floor were narrow and awkward to negotiate with suitcases. Some noise from Tube. The lightweight curtains didn't block out the security light outside - pack an eye mask if you like a dark room.
Service at late arrival was terrible. Apparently the key needs to be collected at central location 10 minutes away from the accomodation when arriving after 20:00 h. Supposidly I was contacted to inform me of this the day before by e-mail and contacted by phone on the day. This did not happen. Staff at the central location was rude, would not offer an appology (as if I was making it up..)
Very compact and comfortable little studio flat in a pleasant street. Quiet, looking out onto tiny courtyard garden. Location very convenient for stations and getting into central London.
Kitchen facilities were very minimal in this budget studio and a short person would probably not even be able to reach up to the crockery and microwave. Not tea towel provided.
It was called a studio, I couldn't sit down on the loo, nor walk around the bed. The drawers were full of garbage not having been cleaned for a year possibly. The shower head did not lock as the fitting was broken. The lock on the window was broken so it couldn't stay open without a book or similar underneath the window pane. If booking.com/S2L doesn't refund the room, I'll put this on all the social media which will be very expensive for both of you. I have never experienced anything like it.
Having stayed here before we find the location and eating facilities are very good and studios have everything you need
Run down Small and cramped Price was too high for the quality provided
excellent value for money!!
Close to Euston station, 5 minute walk, no expensive taxi bills. Took my own food to cook, shops nearby. T.V had a DVD player so I could watch my own films or play music. WiFi good. Security of premises good and a real plus, I could leave my case at the place, in a secure room, until 7 in the evening, so, no lugging it around to meetings I had planned. The place was spotlessly clean, probably the best rooms at that price and cleanliness, anywhere in London. If I had known who the domestic technician was I would have left a tip.
I was in a basement room, I couldn't figure it out straight away, but lying in bed I kept hearing rumbling noises every couple of minutes and then realised it was the underground trains making it. I got to sleep eventually, next time I shall ask for a room higher up in the building. I don't know if all rooms have a very small ensuite, I'm 6.1 or 1.85 tall, but I had to sit on the toilet sideways, real inconvenience, but funny.
Small, but nice room. Excellent location.
The bed is very soft.
great location (Euston/Kings Cross/British Library/Bloomsbury/Camden); much cheaper than other hotels in the area; self-catering facilities, fridge
room was not as clean this time (2nd visit), but ok; very small (but I guess ok for the price)
Room and bath is too small
Great location, clean, generally nice
Cleanliness and location.
Great spot if you like curries, must be 10 within 100m. Good pub over the road. Bus links excellent. Great value for money.
We were under the checkout desk & stairs so it got a bit noisy in the night. Good job I can sleep.
near Euston Station very clean studio
very small room next to main door (so at night you hear everyone coming in and out, and people talking in the intercom from the other hotel location). But it's only if you stay in the room next to the door. Otherwise very good
The room, location, fittings and facilities.
Hoovers and mops being left on landings and stairs. Trip hazard and leaning on Fire Extinguishers
We liked about the location, cleanliness.
We paid for a bigger Economy Studio, but we been given only a SMALL Economy studio. This was a ripp-off and is not value for money. Travellers, please be warned that this hotel will rip you off if you are not careful with the experience that we had. They promised to provide you with a receipt after check-out, but did not, until you requested again and again.
5 minute walk from Euston station, following walking guide on iphone! Smart appearance on outside and compact inside but for 2 of us who just wanted to sleep in a comfy bed and have our own kitchen facilities it was great. Shower cubicle was small but strength of shower was great. Bed was very comfortable and I dont sleep well when I go away but I did have a decent night here. Obviously space is a premium in London so dont expect a lot but this apartment is worth the money and well run!
Tv didnt work but then we didnt go the London to watch telly!
The bed in room 201 is clearly broken! How can you charge people to stay in a room where the bed is broken? It was like the two of us were sleeping in a hill!, and every thing in the kitchen needs cleaning! Other than that it was great!
Would have been great if it had a proper clean going over and the bed needs replacing! Also the receptionist rung me after 1am to tell me he had accodentily given me a form he was supposed to keep and wanted me to take it back to him (over a mile away at the other hotel!) a joke!
cleanliness and central location
shower mixer didn't mix to a consistent temperature, more like hot then cold then hot then cold again.
Bed was soft and location was easy to find. Close to underground and ok Price.
You could hear all your neighbours through the walls. I had a bad allergic reavtion to the carpets which Werner old and i dont like it but I Guess its normal in London. It was way smaller then it looked when booking and we missed something to through trash in the bathroom.
Everything was very good except for the staff...so moody.
Staff, comfort and cleanliness
A small stool to sit at top in kitchen and use as table/desk would have been great
Location. Cost for London Assistance from staff . Very friendly Good facilities. Nice and suitable kitchen
Narrow staircase. No lift
