Position. Central London. Close to Euston and King's Cross. Modern and well equipped. Smart lounge.
I know it was a studio apartment, but it was no bigger than a standard hotel room. Asked for a view, but as we were in the basement we got a wall. Staying for a week or more makes sense, but for two days find a hotel with breakfast thrown in.
Large flight of stairs
Easy access from Euston, with good bus and underground connections to main sights. Clean and well-appointed room ( small but no smaller than most in London? )
Three flights of stairs and no lift. Slight step at door was easy to miss and trip on.
stairs, difficult with suitcases
Close to Kings Cross station, easy access to transportation.
Kitchen layout poor, sink was in a corner under cabinets.Difficult to do dishes. Poor lighting. No instruction sheet for how things operated in room. Bathroom fan broken. No hot water one day with no explanation.
Location was good, only a short walk from kings Cross and underground station. Good wifi connection. Clean and comfy bed. Good shower. Staff pleasant and helpful.
A lot smaller than it looks on the photos. TV did not work. Never reported it as I was not that bothered. On the top floor. 61 steeps to climb. No lift.
1. Very new and clean room, the mattress is very comfortable. 2. Kitchen equipment are great with oven and microwave, good for cooking. 3. With bath gel, shampoo and hair conditioner 4. Staff are doing their work 5. Wifi connection is great and with unlimited usage, can connect more than one device per password
1. No lift, so all staircase and you may need to climb up two floors or climb down to the basement. 2. Hotel staff WILL NOT assist on moving the luggage, I'm female solo traveller with two big luggages and one backpack after shopping at London outlet 3. No phone in the room. So you need to go out to the street to reach the reception in case anything goes wrong in your room. Receiption is at a separate building to most rooms. 4. I'm later being arranged to stay at ground floor. There is one big window with no fence and security protection. Given the minimal distance and fence outside the building, I dare not keep the window open at night or when I'm out, with little A/C, the ventilation in the room is poor. 5. Hair comb and slippers are not provided. Shaving kit only provided once when you first arrive, no refill. You need to go to receiption daily for tea bags and milk
It's a cute little apartment. The tube is close.
The staff is very disagreeable and heedless. No elevator. I must self climb heavy suitcases up narrow stairs to thirth floor, where the heat is unbearable, in oktober!
The location is very good. Close to Kings Cross & Russell Square but in a pleasant crescent & our studio room looked out onto a leafy garden area at the back so it was relatively quiet & airy considering we were in Central London. The kitchenette was well-equipped. Staff were pleasant & helpful.
The bathroom was very very small. I think that anyone slightly above average size would not be able to actually get into the shower.
Kitchen facilities and comfy bed. Great location too.
Some plates and cutlery were dirty when we arrived but easily cleaned.
the flexibility of an apartment style room
the only drawback is the size of the bathrooms in these apartments which are exceptionally tiny. If you are tall you will have trouble sitting on the WC
The room we booked on website had a private terrace and we chose that specifically and paid more. We were told when we arrived that all rooms were booked. Quite cross as booking.com does not match the right room with studiolets. This needs looking at.
Close to train & Tube services Rooms looked like they had just been renovated to a good standard. Luggage storage Nice view onto tennis courts Nice bedding & comfy bed Overall it was a pleasant stay & we would certainly go again in the future.
Lights from outside made it difficult to sleep. Bathroom facilities a bit on the cramp side (although all in good condition & very clean)
Close to St Pancras, Brunswick Centre, Euston Station, you can get anywhere quite easily from here. Very handy if flying from Luton. Once you accept these rooms are going to be serIously SMALL, you will enjoy your stay. Absolutely everything you need fits into a tiny space. We also fitted our baby's travel cot in. We just pushed the bed over.
Liked everything about the place but when I emailed the staff to check would a travel cot fit, they said they couldn't provide one and no it wouldn't. Ours is large and it did fit. It was annoying to have to bring our own though as we were travelling on public transport.
The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help. Close to transport, close to shops, pubs etc. Quite area at night. Free laundry.
First room was on the third floor and no lift, 60 steps up to room. No good for a 76 year old person. Saw staff and they changed the room for one on the lower floor.
No aircondition No lift, we had to go up two stories with hand luggage Bathroom very very very small Shower door did not close
nearness to underground. Garden to sit out in central location Obliging staff to order taxi. Thank you
we were on the top floor and i have asthma ! will move down a bit next time
Being senior citizens with Luggage and no Lift.its a NO NO
The location The service The facilities
Room more cramped than the advertisement indicated Not being able to book in before 2pm a bit hard when you've been in planes for 30 hours to get there Not enough room in the bag store to store all bags safely, just lined up in the hall
Apartment was tucked away from heavy traffic areas, 24 hour staff were friendly and extremely helpful, there was endless supply of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. Close to underground and city centre, perfect for our needs. Felt very safe would definitely choose to stay again. Free WIFI too.
Apartment was very well equipped, almost too well. The small room had a fully equipped fitted kitchen and shelving and furniture beyond what one would really need unless staying long-term. This made it rather cramped for two - but was ingenious in its design none-the-less. Personally would have preferred it to be simpler in design but overall I can't really fault it.
No action taken by staff when I told them the first morning that the hair dryer was broken and wires exposed. 5 days later it still hadn't been addressed. The rubbish is not removed until after your stay and the whole place is extremely cramped.
Price for central London location, plenty of room and kitchenette was bonus as was laundry facilities
Empty own bins, no cleaning less than seven days
Bed was comfortable and the room clean. Location good.
Much of the facilities were in odd places - kitchen sink virtually unusable due to being tucked in corner, cutlery drawer so high you had to reach up and put hand in without being able to see. No servicing meant for a long stay, no change of towels, bed linen or cleaning. Only one set of coffee etc meant you ran out after one day.
