Set in beautiful gardens, this 16th-century Tudor farmhouse offers charming en suite rooms, some with discounted rates. Stratford-upon-Avon is just 6 miles (9.6 km) away.

Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. The late meal (till 21:30 was good and reasonable value for money.
I think they could benefit by placing a sign at the entrance to the Castle farm access road (a cart track) to indicate the real entrance is just a few hundred yards further on (Sat nav issue)
Great value for money, but I would have been happy to pay more for a well decorated and well maintained room, The front of house staff are very friendly and do a remarkable job given the challenges they face. Despite the failings, I would stay here again.
What a great location - but the driveway is in such poor repair, it makes you doubt that the hotel has had any investment. The bedrooms and bathrooms certainly need updating. Noise insulation is poor and the windows need to be double glazed to keep out the draughts.
Quietness. The location and a modern feel to an old building
Having to get up early for work!!!!!
Excellent staff, good evening meal, breakfast hall ceiling, external appearance of building.
Shabby room, looked like servants quarters, horrible wall paper colour (gloss brown), mattresses as old as the castle so completely worn out. Had to lay on top of duvet from the 2nd bed to try and overcome the lumps from the worn out springs. Bedroom light at the door, beds down the other end of the long narrow room and no bedside table or light. Antiquated bathroom, disgusting lino floor, no light in shower area. Below average breakfast selection, food was luke warm at best. So much for de Vere quality.
Everything about this venue needs repainting, stair carpets were worn, the whole place from the drive to the outbuildings look tired
The staff are very helpful and friendly ,the Castle and grounds are amazing ,rooms are very comfortable and the free WiFi came in useful ,we both enjoyed our stay and have booked for the Valentine package already, can't wait.
Room very small and basic. Toilet could have done with a good clean.
The castle and the atmosphere was great!
The room was too dated
Wifi was awful, should not say free wifi as it kept going of every minute very very frustrating!
Quiet situation, got a good nights sleep. OK for a stopover for a night.
poor cleanliness, bathroom cupboard not been cleaned, and back of bedroom door was streaked with brown oily substance leaking from the door-closer. Gone-off milk on the breakfast table, quickly replaced by waiter once informed. was advised not to sit by window of restaurant due to cold - why not put the heating on!?
Helpful and friendly staff and in a beautiful setting.
Good sauna Good breakfast Comfortable
No dinner as kitchen closed at 8pm Very chilly in the bar The bacon was inedible
The gardens and exterior appearance The breakfast selection The value for money
The driveway. The initial room allocated The very poor standard of decoration
The building is beautiful, entrance hall, lounge, breakfast room were all stunning.
The fact that the room was too small, no valance on the awful bed, the kettle wire didn't reach the socket, so you had to put it on the floor, the bath had a hole in it, the extractor in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall out at any minute, I expected a lot better from a de vere.
Lovely location , comfortable room .
Bathroom needed some attention . Towel rail coming off wall , and basin nearly blocked .
Lovely building.... dinning room/bar nice
The room was tired and dated and in need of redecoration. Bath handle broken and left with hole in bath and plug hole rusted also no toilet paper or brush! Bed base broken on one side and base shabby. Had to boil kettle on floor as flex didn't reach socket from shelf - not safe! Not particular good service at breakfast on Saturday as on the Friday. The grounds are unkept and it all looks so sad for such a beautiful building.
Situation, grounds, building, I advise visitors to read the history of the building.
Very small room, noisy in the morning with deliveries trundling a Ing passageways, tired carpets and fixtures
The room dirty carpets unpleasant view from window bathroom needs updating urgently
lovely area, pretty castle, nice grounds, nearby pubs etc only a short drive away, about 25 mins from Stratford upon Avon.
Not very forthcoming with meals, it seemed like you could eat there, but we never saw anyone eating and it was very hard to find a menu or anyone to order from.
Good value for money - £37 for 1 staying B&B. Good breakfast. Staff professional & pleasant. Free Wifi. Nice main area interiors as expected of a castle & surroundings.
Better housekeeping required - room could have been cleaner. Set up for business/corporate meetings etc, so not the place for couples/families.
Character of building. Helpful staff. Good central heating. Spacious rooms. Good cooked breakfast. Free parking.
Mouldy sealant around the bath/shower. Shower screen didn't seal correctly against the bath.
Great value. Lovely spot.
The room had not been cleaned. Cob webs and spiders, also nest of lady birds all over the room. Very disappointed
Poor it support when booking in
