Staff were excellent and the food was very good. The room had everything we needed.
Prompt attentive, friendly and helpful staff. The building seems recently decorated so everything is clean and functional. The room is very well designed, clean and works well.
Breakfast wasn't included, but that is more about the booking that the hotel itself.
The room was clean, modern, warm & well decorated with ample amenities. The staff helpful & friendly. Our family meal for 10 for Sunday lunch was excellent, food& service good.
The evening brasserie was a disappointment with a lack of gluten free alternatives. We actually supplied our own GF bread for the ham sandwich which was NOT home baked ham.
Location, friendly and helpful staff, good food reasonably priced.
The noise from constantly slamming doors was terrible (as was the noise from refurb work but that can be excused) and it did spoil my stay. Also, light intrusion from the corridor (under room door) was disturbing.
everything was so good the staff were excellent very friendly and made sure we had a very comfortable stay. they couldn't have done more the food was very good. I would like to say a big thank you to all especially Julie the receptionist.
nothing to dislike!
Stayed several times. Friendly Staff. Always helpful. Will continue to stay when in area.
Lots of building work and upheaval but will be worth it when finished. My room had been refurbished and was excellant.
Our room had been recently refurbished and was very nice.
Walking up the cold and dirty spiral staircase as the main stairs were closed due to renovating work I presume
Staff friendly and helpful.Rooms basic, but sufficient and clean.Beds very comfortable.
The bar area is dingy and uninviting. It could do with bringing up to to date, brighter and modern.Take down theses grotty pictures!!! What happened to the sofa in the lobby???
Great new rooms great food and great staff. And of course GREAT location. Loved it
friendly staff lovely breakfast very comfortable room easy walk into faringdon and to the folly large carpark
Cleanliness, comfort and nice friendly staff
Not many people around however maybe time of year
All was enjoyable.
The price of the food.
Large room, very comfy bed
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and comfy beds.
Food at restaurant very good ,checked around town but decided to eat in. Rooms quite comfy and clean. Tea making facilities topped up every day.
Only one bed side lamp for a double bed room. Bath room extractor fan not woking.Quite cold in the bar in the evening and in the bedroom, could do with secondary heating.
Staff were excellent Even though there was a wedding on, our evening meal upstairs was excellent. Plenty of parking
Our room was tired and old. Renovations would benefit Play equipment or climbing equipment area would be beneficial for families
Private of street parking, clean modern rooms. double glazing on windows. Updated ensuite
one window facing the street not bouble glazed
Very comfortable bed, lovely large, fluffy bath towels, 'Ritual' toiletries, large screen TV, good location to explore the Cotswolds, reasonable price
Public areas shabby, bedroom chairs tired and a bit grubby, fire door near our room (307) slammed loudly rather than swung too.
Nice hotel in a pretty market town near Oxford
Asked for a wake-up call 2 days in a row and never got one! Complained to the front desk both times and they didn't even have the 2nd day written down. They did have the 1st day but to no avail.
Friendly staff. Good location between Oxford and Swindon
Nice hotel, nice beds (important!), nice breakfasts, nice location, nice feel about the place. Altogether . . . nice!
Thought breakfast should have been in with the price, not extra.
Very peaceful and easy to walk to shops even though you appear to be a long way from anywhere
No swimming pool
The location is excellent. Did not try food, so cannot comment on that.
The room was very cold - had to sleep in my dressing gown and use a bath towel as an extra blanket. Hotel in need of refurbishment - wall paper hanging off wall in corridor. Very shabby in appearance.
Friendly staff, bed was clean & comfy.. Good facilities in the room I.e iron and ironing board, tea & coffee
Hotel decor was very dated and worn.. Could use a facelift
