I liked the fact that they gave you a lot of information and the breakfast was amazing! got more than I could eat actually! a walk of about 20 minutes and you get to the old town centre... (which is really nice)
during the night I heard a constant buzzing - either from the pipes or from the mini fridge inside the cupboard which didn't allow me to get too much sleep...but we only stayed 1 night so overall the house was lovely (very vintage style which I like )
Friendly, clean and comfortable, what more could you need.
Private parking. Warm welcome. Clean room and bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Homemade biscuits in room.
A lovely place to stay, very clean room and the attention to detail was lovely Breakfast was the best.would stay again
Liked it all, nothing I didn't like except for the hill on the way home but that's not their fault.
Everything about the facilities were 100% right and all our needs were met and then some. The hotel was clean and warm and quiet. Liz and Alfredo were perfect, friendly and attentive of our every need. A complete gem which I would highly recommend to friends. I will deffinately stay there again when I am next in Hastings. Just brilliant.
I cannot think of one thing I was disappointed with.
Could not find any faults what so ever. It was just perfect for us, a home from home. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts could not be more friendly and trusting. Would recommend this B&B to anyone and rate it 10 out 10.
really nice personal touches to this B & B, nothing is too much trouble for them. lovely location, lovely house, rooms comfortable & they are lovely people. want to come back
It's a convenient area for both trown or sea front.
There was not anything we did not like on this stay. We highly recommend.
Room,Facilities, little extras such as fresh milk and drinking water in fridge ,easy chairs, spa bath, spot on wifi, first class breakfast
Cold night and long walk to old part of town
A very warm welcome from the owners, who also provided a town map and gave suggestions for restaurants for the evening.
Nothing to dislike
I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. The cleanliness and attention to detail was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding - we didn't need to eat till teatime! There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room, as well as a fridge, a jug of water, home-made cookies and the offer of fresh milk if we wanted it. Only 10 minutes walk to the sea, we were surrounded by trees, a beautifully kept garden and it was lovely and quiet.
Loved those little extra touches such as a jug of milk in fridge for our tea instead of those horrible little cartons. Also home-made cookies, such a nice touch. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely too and a very comfortable room.
The walk back up the hill after a day out (but to be fair we were told about the bus we could have caught)
The personal service.
Staff extremely nice and polite, fantastic breakfast in this beautiful winter garden, very comfortable room.
Friendly welcome. Lovely little personal touches, homemade biscuits in room and jam at breakfast.
There was nothing we didn't like
good food very pleasent hosts nice room nice location
having to open gates all the time
The owners were amazing. Every day homemade cookies in our room, the best breakfast and very friendly. The location was quiet and it was a 15 minute walk to downtown Hastings. As a young couple, we really enjoyed our easygoing weekend here.
It was a bit hard to find with GPS, because there is no house number. Remember to drive to Lidl and turn left after the police station.

The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and keen to make our stay as good as it could be. Perfect hosts. The breakfasts were wonderful. I only didn't give the sleep question an Excellent score because I'd eaten too much at supper and a very full stomach kept me awake!!
Liz and Alfredo were really lovely hosts, making you feel very welcome. The facilities on the ground floor very good for my partner who has mobility issues. Breakfast was delicious and the bed was really comfortable. Shower pressure very good as well!
A good breakfast. The owners a lovely couple, very helpful. Secure parking. Extra large bed.
Old Town a bit to far to walk.
Welcomed as friends. Room tastefully decorated, comfortable with all needs catered for, even the option of fresh milk! The balcony offered distant views of Hastings and the sea and overlooked the delightful garden - the 'giraffe ' sculpture eye catching. Breakfast was served promptly, generous portions and beautifully cooked. The whole experience was very pleasant and made so by the charming Liz and Alfredo. Highly recommend Summerfields House.
Summerfields house was very well appointed, clean and tidy with well appointed decor, comfortable room with all facilities, warm welcome on arrival, very good breakfast!
There wasn't anything to dislike!
The owners are very welcoming and accomodating to your needs. Breakfast is both plentiful and of an excellent standard with lots of choice. The location is great, quiet and not far Hastings Centre and the seafront.
