Everything was perfect apart from traffic noise.

I found it very difficult to get to sleep as the road ,A229, is very close to the house and traffic noise continued until midnight. Probably the rooms at the back of the house are quieter.

It is always nice when you are remembered when you only stay once a year. Chris and Jacqueline are wonderful hosts and provide such an excellent range of food for breakfast time There is only one place for me to stay when I am in the area.

It was in a beautiful homes and the two rooms were both spacious and very cost. They had delicious home made biscuits as well on arrival! bathroom was stocked with toiletries which was great.

We came without car and so getting around by relying on cabs was so difficult. We were there for a wedding in nearby town but hadn't realised how hard it is to get cabs out there. However the owner was very kind and offered to pick us up from the wedding if we couldn't get one (we did manage to get one in the end)

Owners were lovely-friendly without being too 'in your face' . I was I'll for about 36 hours (nothing to do with being there) and they were very kind & attentive. Most welcoming.

Pleasant greeting on arrival. Comfortable bed and clean facilities. Very tasty breakfast which arrived promptly - breakfast turnaround 25 mins allowing me to get up and get back to my family in Hertfordshire! Owners were simply lovely people and stayed up until my return from meeting friends at midnight, to ensure I got in safely. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture.

Bit hard to find and parking limited but then drive a tank!

We were made very welcome and felt immediately at home in a peaceful setting. Nothing was too much trouble: recommendations for an evening meal with map provided. Fresh milk for tea and coffee and home-made cake on arrival.

The winter duvet on a summer night!

The very warm welcome, especially as we were very held up in traffic and arrived much later than we said. Lovely cup of tea and piece of cake on arrival! The house is beautiful, especially the lovely dining room. Breakfast was exceptional, beautifully cooked and locally sourced ingredients.

The noisy main road right under our windows which as it was very hot we had to have open. Maybe fans would have helped.

    Situated in nice gardens

Didn't understand or appreciate comment that B&B was really only available for late afternoon until early morning, that is, our attendance during the day was not appropriate (when all we wanted to do was sit in the garden or garden room during the day)

Brilliant breakfasts made from local ingredients, comfortable bed and lovely garden! Owners and a dog are charming and very kind to give lots of sightseeing information around Kent & Sussex.

Need to check the precise location in advance as sat may not take you to the right place.
