Decor of dining room.
Hard to find.
A very warm welcome with tea and cake, ( home made ) from our hostess. Excellent facilities. A very yummy breakfast..Very helpful with local information.
Nothing comes to mind.
Very pleasant stay. Friendly owners who showed good hospitality. We enjoyed the stay and would certainly recommend to others.Breakfast was excellent with a good choice on menu. The stay helped make our few days away very enjoyable.
friendly hosts extending a warm welcome. Excellent breakfast and a good night's rest. Good choice of places to dine in the vicinity.
More detailed instructions are needed on how to access the parking facility which is at the rear of the house.
Very welcoming & friendly Calm friendly dog & beautiful garden a bonus Delicious breakfasts Comfortable room (twin) Local info provided (leaflets and map) On bus route from Staplehurst rail station & Sissinghurst Castle garden Good choice of restaurants in walking distance
Difficulties due to being in a small town in Kent - poor mobile reception, limited public transport & limited local taxi service (book ahead!) No criticism of the B&B at all
Great facilities and fun conversation. Thank you for accommodating our 3 year old. Thank you for the homemade breakfast to order.
Helpful and welcoming, home from home. Nothing too much trouble and good breakfast.
Friendly owners, large room, lovely bathroom, very nice breakfast.
slightly lumpy mattress if I'm forced to find any faults.
Everything was perfect apart from traffic noise.
I found it very difficult to get to sleep as the road ,A229, is very close to the house and traffic noise continued until midnight. Probably the rooms at the back of the house are quieter.
It is always nice when you are remembered when you only stay once a year. Chris and Jacqueline are wonderful hosts and provide such an excellent range of food for breakfast time There is only one place for me to stay when I am in the area.
It was in a beautiful homes and the two rooms were both spacious and very cost. They had delicious home made biscuits as well on arrival! bathroom was stocked with toiletries which was great.
We came without car and so getting around by relying on cabs was so difficult. We were there for a wedding in nearby town but hadn't realised how hard it is to get cabs out there. However the owner was very kind and offered to pick us up from the wedding if we couldn't get one (we did manage to get one in the end)
Owners were lovely-friendly without being too 'in your face' . I was I'll for about 36 hours (nothing to do with being there) and they were very kind & attentive. Most welcoming.
The owners were lovely & gave us tea with homemade cake when we arrived. The bread for breakfast was also homemade!!
Pleasant greeting on arrival. Comfortable bed and clean facilities. Very tasty breakfast which arrived promptly - breakfast turnaround 25 mins allowing me to get up and get back to my family in Hertfordshire! Owners were simply lovely people and stayed up until my return from meeting friends at midnight, to ensure I got in safely. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture.
Bit hard to find and parking limited but then drive a tank!
We were made very welcome and felt immediately at home in a peaceful setting. Nothing was too much trouble: recommendations for an evening meal with map provided. Fresh milk for tea and coffee and home-made cake on arrival.
The winter duvet on a summer night!
The hosts were lovely. Very welcoming.
Lack of wifi was a little frustrating as was there on business.
Very friendly couple, well located ,
Warm welcome from hosts, good supply of drinks and biscuits in room. Bathroom had very nice complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was good. Very enjoyable stay.
Excellent B&B, very welcoming. We stayed in the twin room which was confy and clean, breakfast was really good.
WiFi a bit poor and Vodafone 3G wouldn't work
The very warm welcome, especially as we were very held up in traffic and arrived much later than we said. Lovely cup of tea and piece of cake on arrival! The house is beautiful, especially the lovely dining room. Breakfast was exceptional, beautifully cooked and locally sourced ingredients.
The noisy main road right under our windows which as it was very hot we had to have open. Maybe fans would have helped.
