My best experience was leaving...... Everything was bad, £175 for 2 nights on a council estate , drunks, constant smell from pizza shop, lack of security, winos, dirty skidded toilets, lights not working, sticky bar/floors stains on bedsheets, rude staff, greasy greasy breakfast. no direct lift to floors, up steep stairs to rooms (lifts designed to stop on landing which are not on floor levels) i could go on forever. nb dont park your car here

On check in, the room booked and the room received were not of the same level. Single bed instead of double. Toilet had not been cleaned and "stains" remained. There was what seemed like a coffee stain on the bed linen. Hotel is situated about a local bar and commercial centre which was very noisy. Service in the bar was awful and floor was sticky under foot. On returning from my first business day, I came back to find my bedroom door had been left open by the cleaners (or hopefully it was the cleaners). The manager explained that they had problems with their cleaning staff and somehow I didn't care. Fact is, my room was left unsecure. When I went in, I noticed the bathroom had not really been cleaned. Stains on the bathroom shelf from the day before. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room but no teaspoons to stir a hot drink. I will never go there again!!!

We stayed in a suite and had a kitchenette which was very convenient. The housekeeping was errattic (room wasn't serviced first morning and bathroom bin wasn't emptied throughout our stay) The kitchenette was was poorly equipped I.E.no toaster, kitchen knife, chopping board, can opener, or bowl/plate for microwave cooking.

Nice staff, room was clean and tidy and spacious. No towels in the room: had to dry myself using a pillow case. Room was very warm and there was a lot of mechanical noise outside from some sort of generator. Bad nights sleep in a warm, noisy room which I paid £75 for with no breakfast included in the price. Staff were nice and the room was nice but I've had better stays in cheaper hotels. May just have been a one off but I wouldn't book this hotel again.

Closeness to both Aberdeen and the airport. The shower was mouldy. The ceiling had numerous water stains on it. The remote control for the tv did not work properly and the room was cold, even with the raidiator on full.

It was close to the location i was at the next day. The staff were not that pleaseing, they hardly spoke, i could not sleep as there was nocking on the floor from the room upstairs which sounded like a tap dripping. the food was very basic and for £90.00 a night you would have thought it would have a better choice than it did. I will not be staying again. most of the Best Western are very nice but this one did not tick the box

I found the hotel very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent for breakfast and evening meal. In my particular case the location was spot on as I was visiting my wife in ari after a major heart operation. I sincerely recommend Summerhill Hotel.

Presentation of Accommodation Electrical Appliances out of Date for testing; One such item had no Test details, other was 2-years overdue! Delivery of Food was very slow, Hot Meals served on Cold Plates, food very greasey. Why is there a 'Do Not Use Lift in a Fire' on the Ground Floor adjacent to the Front Door, but no such signage on the Second Floor? A Dinner Menu in the Room would have helped.

The complimentary bottle of water and carton of juice was a lovely touch and we got plenty supplies of coffee, milk and sugar. The room was immaculate. The location leaves a lot to be desired, the parking facility was not too good. When I say location, it really is concerning the underpass you have to go through from the car to the entrance, with all the shops there it would be a bit scary if I had been on my own. In all honesty though once you get through the doors of the hotel it really is lovely!

This hotel is very well situated for the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. I booked this room to be near my mother for visiting times at the Hospital. The room was nice and the fridge is always a welcome bonus which not all hotel chains provide. My room was clean and tidy and the cleaners came round every day which was great. Breakfast was lovely and the staff I encountered were friendly and helpfull at all times. This is by no means a complaint but mearly an observation which may be of some use to the hotel chain. I would have liked a toilet brush in the toilet. To be honest if this is my only observation this should constitute a job well done for the staff.

Firstly they did not even have my booking I made with you on their books...I had to pay much more than what I had booked for...then there is no parking place near the front door of the hotel and I had to drag my bags and suitcases from an outside public parking to the hotel. The receptionist was rude to me about my booking...I was quite distressed about the extra money I had to pay and the poor reception I had....You have a record of what I had said I would pay you and if you took the trouble to find out what I had paid you would find out that there is a much higher payment I had to make....

Helpful staff, nice bar with food. No pillows on the bed when I arrived, a rather dubiously stained carpet in the room and the room was opposite the toilets for the bar and no secure parking.

Room was spacious. WiFi was readily available. Bed was uncomfortable, not to the expected standard. Exterior and entrance to the hotel appears not be have been cleaned for some time, stepping over rubbish and cigarette butts to enter the foyer. The staff attitude needs improving in some instances.
