Simplicity. Warm, cosey, cordial. Excellent accommodation at affordiable price.
The owner and staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The whole hotel was spotless and our room very comfortable . Will definitely stay there again . The breakfast could not be faulted.
We loved the log fire in the lounge and the fine dining.
There was nothing we did not like.
All areas meet my needs and in some areas exceed my expectations. Everything is run efficiently and calmly and importantly; to your requirements. Very professional and all-in a slick operation that's VFM.
Having to go back, as I had like a fool, driven off with the key!
Parking, walking distance to city centre, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very comfortable room.
Excellent service, clean, comfortable rooms with lovely view
The room was very comfortable and clean; the evening meal and breakfast were delicious. I was made to feel very welcome and the whole experience was excellent.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were excellent.
The accommodation was just a little bit dated.
No fuss or hastle nice easy going place, we only had breakfast but it was excellent, would recomend.
We had a bedroom at the front of the house and the passing traffic was slightly noisy (admittedly our own house is in a very quiet street which made us notice the traffic a bit more)
Warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere, flexibility
only the slope of the car park
There was nothing not to like. You were made to feel at home from the moment you stepped through the door with warmth and sincerity. Nothing was too much trouble. They were respectful, helpful, great food, great service and incredibly, incredibly hospitable I would stay there again and recommend it without hesitation.
Welcoming, first class breakfast, good location
Very friendly and helpful owners and staff, Very good breakfasts. Very pleasant building
Double bed narrow and short. Poor reading light. Poor hair dryer Basic bathroom Towels very hard General carpets the worse of wear Needs some upgrading to earn. 4*
The room and the excellent breakfast
The website and menus in the room folder implied there was an evening dining option, but in reality only a small selection of bar snacks was available.
A 'country house' feeling close to the town centre. Good food and standard of accommodation.
Close to main road so makes for some noise, which is to be expected.
Just really friendly and welcoming Thank you
Comfortable room, very quiet, made very welcome, only 10 minutes walk to shops & restaurants. Remo was very helpful with information.
Parking spaces were quite tight if all spaces were full.
Excellent evening meal. Warm welcome.
although hotel seemed fairly full few clients eating evening meal making for a very quiet time. Also offer of coffee before breakfast cereal was eaten meant coffee was cold before toast arrived.
Staff extremely friendly especially Remo. Good location.
Shower curtain needs updating to shower screen. Towels bit scratchy need softening perhaps in tumble drier.
the owners and staff were very friendly, breakfast great especially porridge. Room a good size and comfy. would definitely recommend as a B&B to visit in Perth
staff very friendly, hotel extremely clean and warm! the breakfast was fab
The hotel is located within walking distance of the town centre, but is also close to the motorway. It sits on the more rural road which takes you north, for Scone Castle, Blairgowrie etc. Ideal for exploring Perthshire and beyond. The owner and staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Nothing springs to mind.
Hotel is easy to locate and park. The host is welcoming, helpful, professionally presented and most importantly; human! Lovely personal touches and a genuine service. The food was very good and the whole hotel impeccably presented. This was my first visit and I'll certainly consider in the future.
I'd struggle to think of anything without being extremely picky - oh OK - the towels could have been a little softer!
Everything, but especially chef Remo. He personalized the breakfast exoerience and also cooked evening dinners for an additional charge. It was like having a personal chef onhand.
Hard to find. Set back from a busy street, but the noise was minimal. Don't try walking downtown in the dark. It is longer than the locals think. Other nearby dining choices are limited. Eat at the hotel for a nice relaxing evening after a busy day of sightseeing.
