Friendly staff especially the proprietor, good breakfast and clean facilities set within a tastefully decorated victorian house. Easy access to Perth City centre with all the associated facilities Whilst clean and functional the on suite shower room was a little dated |

Wonderful hotel. Very traditional British hotel run by the fantastic Italian owner Remo and his wife! Remo is also a very good chef. There's also a really nice living room where you can drink a fine malt in order to relax after a long day at work. Not enough tv channels on offer in the room. |

Breakfast was freshly cooked and served in the dining room which has a pleasant open outloook. Sound proofing is poor. There was a school party staying and noise travelled from the room next door and from the room above ours. |

Very friendly and efficient proprietor (Remo), everything was clean, good sympathetic update of facilities (like bathrooms) while retaining original character. Great food, lovely atmosphere, at least in part due to Remo! Wifi was effectively not available in my room. Could easily be fixed by putting in a wifi repeater (range extender). |

It was peaceful. The room was clean, but basic. The "luxury toiletries" consisted of, small bar of soap, one small shampoo and a shower cap. The "hospitality tray" was, kettle, cups, and sachets of tea and coffee, absolutely no biscuits, or anything to eat. It is advertised the English breakfast is inclusive. What I did not realise that blackpudding and haggis had to be ordered the previous day. As I stayed there for one night only, and the menu was in a drawer in the room, when I asked the owner re the breakfast, he was fairly unpleasant, and implied I was being "unhelpful", but went over to another couple and offered them mushrooms!! |

the Italian owner is most charming and the breakfast service and food were excellent.An elevator would have certainly helped with heavy luggage. The hotel rooms ,however, are just barely basic,reminiscent of the 1960 style.The bathrooms are tiny and primitive with no ability to mix hot and cold water from the faucets in the sink. The description of "house hotel in a park like setting" made us believe we had booked a full service hotel.It was a B+B instead. |

Smartly presented comfortable intimate small hotel which is very well managed. The owner is a brilliant chef and is a hidden gem of Perth and in my opinion compares favourably with expensive London venues.This was our fourth visit ! |

Made to feel welcome and at home from arrival to departure. Very good personal attention and interest from staff. Very good food prepared to order. Normal Menu is fixed and contains a limited number of choices, assuming a limited stay of a few days. As I was staying for 10 days the manager proposed a menu for my time there, offering fresh food cooked to order. Food has an Italian theme reflecting the background of the chef/manager. Hotel is alongside a fairly busy road so there can be some noise from traffic. |
